Proprietary Software Trampoline

XPBD softbody simulation in POPs using Gauss-Seidel @ 60fps and 70 shader passes (can't do substepping in same shader pass)

When TouchDesigner introduced POPs one of the first things I tried making was an xpbd soft-body sim, and it looked like this and this. Since then, I've rewritten it multiple times and watched ten minute-physics' tutorials over and over. Many simulation explosions later, it turned out that my very first solver was (mostly) correct, but I was colouring the graph and building the tet constraints in the wrong way..

I'm curious how the idea to create something like this came about, haha

I can't post it here due to the music. But here's an even better version

Probably the AI slop version that was doing the rounds a month or two ago

There were bunnies that were jumping on a trampoline

Anyone else remember the jumping sheep screensaver where they would keep jumping higher and higher until they exploded on impact?

it really treads the line, and I'm here for it

I'm considering making a deep dive on how this works on the GPU. I love 10 minute papers but it isn't immediately obvious from his videos how to implement XPBD on the GPU. I already did a video on Gauss-Seidel in the context of Poisson Solvers, but I'm wondering if there's any appetite for physics solvers
