@sumisamuuu

In celebration for the one year anniversary of the launch of the game. Art by me.

I finally on the first boss of the game idk if I'm ready 😔

Hey All! Many of you may not know that there's an official Konami official ARG follow-up to Silent Hill F that goes through a bit more of the lore after the ending of the video game. Why might you not know it? Well, until now, it's because it's been Japanese only. Well, I translated all of it - you can read through it in the google drive link down below.

I would suggest you watch the youtube video as well, because the format might not make sense without it. Plus I put in a ton of work to make sure it all stands up as something the community can reference. (Especially because the SH wiki has some information on the story, but there are some missing/incorrect details)

I hope you enjoy it!

Howdy folks!

So, I really enjoyed my time.with Silent Hill f. My friends on Playstation have this routine where they'll watch me play a game they're interested in but maybe don't own, and for this season, I'm choosing Silent Hill f.

My question is, they're not going to want to watch 4 playthroughs worth of content (and I'm not ready for back-to-back playthroughs, lol), so how do think the best way to go about a single streamed playthrough would be? I really can only do one, so I figure there's a few options:

Just stream Ending 1, and explain what's really going on or maybe just watch the other endings together.

Maybe an ending 2 or 3?

Stream the True Ending which I would assume has the most cutscenes, but miss out on notes that provide a lot of context. And of course, watch the other endings together.

How would you guys consider going about this? What would be the playthrough offering the most content in one run? Thank you!

kind of reminds me of a CT Brain Scan. Any ideas?

Everytime I unlock my phone I’m greeted by a masterpiece.

I have been thinking about this recently, like, the first four there is no mystery, then Homecoming would be SH5, Downpour SH6, that would make f SH7 (maybe I'm crazy, but the letter "f" kinda look like a flipped 7 even) and Townfall SH8. SH Origins is SH0 and games like Shattered Memories and Short Message are spin-offs, since they weren't released for the main platforms of the time or don't have the full length of a main game. What you guys think?

Seems to be official as it's being published by Kadokawa. No announcement on any SH social media yet. Japanese only.

tl;dr: official art book

Made this in bplace (like wplace, but without shit moderation and better features) over the town that inspired it in real life. Thought it was cool enough to share. Also shoutout for the crossover with Urban Myth Dissolution Center for giving us a nice pixel art sprite.

As many of you have heard, there was a disagreement in this sub's mod chat yesterday. This was over the ship of Kotoyuki and Hinako, a central part of the game.

Of the 3 mods participating in the chat, one left of their own volition. The other i had to remove because they threatened to hostile takeover this sub if I didn't step down. I am no longer in that chat so I cant grab screenshots of the first one leaving but I do have the second.

Today, I woke up to find that he posted screenshots and tried to paint me as a pedophile because I allow this ship as long as it is kept SFW.

That is fine. I dont mind people disagreeing with me.

The problem is that it didnt stop there. The other mod continued to harass me in this sub and when I asked them to stop via a public comment response, they moved into my DMs to continue harassing me. Screenshot attached.

This crossed a major line. Harassment is not ok.

For that reason, I have blocked them for my personal account and banned them from this subreddit. I didn't want to do this, but they just couldnt let it go. No one can move on like this.

This will be the final post about this drama and anything else made about it will be removed.

I am genuinely sorry for my part in this and that it escalated so far.

Thread is now locked as 24 hours have passed. Mod drama officially over. Thank you everyone!
