Dems really need to hold them accountable. Omg so many times its about saving face, compromise, reaching across the aisle only to have their hands bitten off.
Allowed them to corrupt our institution to the point dems cant do anything. It practically almost too late now.
The single only way the dems investigate is if they are voted to take back Congress. Right now there are too few to steer the ship, but we can vote in more Dems in November, very soon if not right now!
They probably still won't. No idea why Americans think one side is their savior and the other is their oppressor. Neither party cares about the working class. Maybe the democrats care a bit more but they aren't going to save Americans lol. They've had decades to fix problems but they typically just add to the list. Americans just swap between two opposing flavors of bullshit. Constantly picking between a douche and turd sandwich forever refusing to see the bigger picture and try to actually fix issues. We’ve been over this already! The Dems will write a strongly worded letter (maybe two) and say “We showed them! Mission accomplished.” Then go back to collecting money for their book tours and public speaking engagements.
It sucks that I can't even feel excited for a major blue wave because I don't think Schumer or Jefferies will change how they do things. Yes, it will be better than how it is now but I don't know if they're willing to fight to make it be enough.
This admin has started bullshit wars that fucked the global economy, annihilated scientific research funding, burned through our oil reserves, destroyed our soft power, wasted our military might, purged anyone in leadership that doesn't instantly suck off Trump, killed countless innocents directly & indirectly, damned millions to suffering, tore families apart, empowered masked psychopaths to attack anyone with impunity, threatened all our allies, encourages the worst among us that being a dickhead is a virtue, mainstreamed full on Nazi talking points, all while siphoning every dollar they can to themselves. The list never ends. They add some new fuckery every day.
Even if they all got blinked out of existence this instant, so many people are going to die because of their actions. Every MAGAt and dickhead that cried "both sides are same" has blood on their hands.
There is no return to before this presidency. The damage done is generational and it boggles my mind how many Americans don't see that.
