I spent almost a decade working myself to the bone while my ex didn't work and just went to school. Every time I saw a light at the end of the tunnel that she would be done and get a job she said she wanted to go to school for longer.

I was so angry all the time as I was working 50 hours a week and doing all the cleaning and cooking while she sat on the couch and complained about how hard her life was.

She took the dog and left me with the kids.

The kids are amazing, work is ok but it could be busier.

My social life is in the tubes though.

The only way to fix your social life is to put yourself out there i know it is so much harder as an adult but you have to try you only need one or two good friends honestly and as a really outgoing guys I have been blessed with 3

I'm running around from 0645 until 8 or 9 pm after the kids have had dinner between all my responsibilities to them and my need to make money so we can survive.

The idea of putting myself out there is tiring.

One day maybe but I don't think anytime soon.
