She's not implying that all males are unsafe as a nanny to an infant. She's implying that there is a general perception of higher risk when leaving an infant with a male nanny.
Which I assume holds little basis in truth, as women are also capable of abusing children, and often do.

As a man, I also get annoyed when people say that.
Like ... brother ... if you feel attacked when people are criticizing RAPISTS then you might be part of the problem.
