FeministTea👩🏻‍🎓👩🏿‍⚖️👠🥾 Core Sentiments

Post image

Former U.S. President Barack Obama frequently speaks on the value of women in political leadership, most recently reviving these thoughts in a September 21, 2026 talk at Salem State University.

During his discussion with presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, Obama stated that he often fantasized during his presidency about putting women in charge of every government for two years. He expressed a strong belief that while things wouldn't be perfect, "they'd be better".

Similarly Obama took a widely publicized stance at a private leadership event in Singapore in December 2019. He argued that women are "indisputably better" leaders than men and that increased female leadership would yield significant improvements in global living standards, child care and also in general outcomes.

A social media nod from singer Nancy Sinatra expressed her agreement with his perspective.

I mean women can be narc sociopaths as well but generally yes, I agree with this sentiment.

Queen Victoria over saw major expansion of British colonialism. Mary Tudor started the War of the roses and executed countless Protestants.

I’d definitely vote for a female president so long as she was the right person, but the point is flat out wrong. Women have been the cause of immeasurable suffering as well

Yeah I get it. Women can be just as terrible as men. Personally, I have had better experiences with women mangers than men. The men were narc sociopaths that led me to have a mental health breakdown. I am slightly biased.

I’m mixed. I’m a guy and have had a total of two female bosses in my 15 years out of college and both were while I was in the military. Both wore the regret of never having kids on their sleeve. One was much more sympathetic and compassionate when it came to family issues but ran a good department overall and the other was very coarse, belittled family obligations and yelled frequently. I’ve only been ripped into by one boss for my job and that was the female commander.

On average, my male bosses have had a much tighter standard deviation around expected behavior where both female bosses were both the nicest yet effective, and the meanest boss I’ve ever had.

I’ve had three jobs outside of college and don’t really think about any other boss/colleague who weren’t friends, but I still hate that woman

I have but the women I worked with were the best leaders . That’s just my experience . The men led me to the psych ward . I know not everyone’s situation is the same but the men I have worked for nearly killed me. I still have trauma I’m working on around those narcs

Most toxic offices I ever worked in were primarily female staffed.

That hasn’t been my experience personally . Females have propelled me and supported me very positively in my career growth .
