I had a conversation with a Cuban co-worker who was very vocal for Trump. He said he would vote for him because he was anti-communist and he knew what Cuba was like.

I explained that Republicans hate ALL Hispanic people, and they truly dont know the difference between a Cuban, a Mexican, a Puerto Rican, or even somebody from Spain. They dont care, and as far as they are concerned all brown people are illegals from Mexico.

He said that wasn't true. And - only the non-documented would be removed. Of course I said that Republicans dont know/dont care about what your documentation says, they'll get all of them.

I have not spoken to him since the election so always wondered what he is thinking now.

There is 0% chance of the United States of America becoming a communist country under Republican leadership and 0% chance of the United States of America becoming a communist country under Democratic leadership.

The two parties are capitalist to their roots and take money from the same corporate overlords.

I live in South Florida. The banshees here screaming that that they will always vote Republican because they don’t want the USA to turn into Cuba are goddamned idiots. Fulgencio Batista was no savior, by the way.

I mean they thought it wouldn't effect them as well, they only care when the policies and these things he is imposing/promoting effects them now. They don't care before and are glad to see families ripped apart because it didn't effect them at the time.

When did Trump or any of his goons ever promise not to touch documented immigrants? I don't personally remember that. 

Yeah, he talked a lot more about the "rappers and murderers", but the rest of us could tell he was lumping all brown immigrants together. They heard what they wanted to hear.
