Zach Bryan took to the stage at Gillette Stadium, owned by Robert Kraft, wearing a shirt that read “Free Palestine,” placing the same message once again at the heart of a prominent, widely attended music concert.
The country music star wore the shirt during his Friday night concert in Foxborough, just weeks after Kraft confirmed he did not want Macklemore to perform at Gillette Stadium, following the rapper’s pro-Palestine statements during Ed Sheeran’s tour.
Macklemore had chanted “Free Palestine” at MetLife Stadium before being later excluded from Ed Sheeran’s tour. Sheeran stated that the decision to exclude him was made by concert organizers and stadium owners, not by him.
