RVs parked on Fox Street (by Walmart)

Does anyone know why there are always so many trailers (and trucks) parked along Fox Street, by the South/Stevenson Walmart? I’ve always wondered what they’re doing there.

They are usually people that use them as their primary dwelling. That's a known spot where you'll be left alone for a few days before being asked to move on

They live in the RVs there.

There isn't many places to park an RV in the city, they get left alone there.

Leave them be. They found somewhere out of the way to park and stay.

That's where my friend parked overnight when living in his converted van. Wal mart didn't mind the people using the space because they would almost always make some purchases. It's a whole community of people

Walmart has a history of letting RV's park overnight and Sam Waltman was famous for loving to RV himself.

When I used to travel across NA, I always stayed in Walmart parking lots that were tolerate for it, saved a ton of money in the process as well.

Walmart parking lots are notorious for not bothering overnight van campers. There is an entire community online dedicated to the practice.

There will soon be a GO train station built on Fox st. so the area might get more traffic and fewer van campers in coming years

My cousin worked at that walmart for 5 years. He told me Walmart actually allows them to park there.
