Utility companies, Ohio, Cas company embridge, embridge, whatever e NBRI d GE thieves scoundrels organized crime,

So the s*** is foul as hell who we all know what's going on in Ohio, shirod, Brown and the electric company, whatever kickbacks, what about the gas company? What about all these f******, you know this whole like? What if the store down the road? Charges you money, no matter what. If you went to it or not every month they sent you a bill just so they could stay in place, you know, but they gotta pay for all that infrastructure, you know they can't charge you. So the gas company charges you $50 a month just to stay connected. I don't use any gas at all for months on end and I pay my bill and I get a $70 month charge $70 a month. My bill right now is a $160 and I have 0 usage for last 2 months, when does it end? When do we? When do we stop f****** Let these m************ run around and just take what they want. Just because there's monopoly, they got a monopoly when you were in school. You learned that a monopoly is illegal. What kind of find out? No, it's just how you go about the monopoly if you do monopoly the right way and just have great competition, but great product greater product. No, these m************ out here doing underhanded deals becoming their own competitor and then being the only supplier and then turning around and charge you whatever they want to charge you, because they know nobody else can step in that arena because they have it all under lock. That is a monopoly. The monopoly that I learn about in school was that fair business fair competition created a better product. Now we 're not having that no more, it's all monopolized, everything's monopolized, do not collect $200, do not pass go, I'm just saying who else out here having problems with these utilities getting ridiculous for 0 usage, I'm not gonna stay charging me for a usage. For you're charging me just a service to stay connected. Because that helps you fund maintaining the line and s***, whether I'm using it or not. Well, they aint here and check underneath my ground and look under my lines. Them lines, I put it in the f****** 50 years ago, man left alone. They're crazy. They're crazy right now. You're crazy right now, man.I got a money flash yet another 14 you too

A $50 minimum is kinda high, but honestly, how else would utilities operate. Utilities don’t share infrastructure or systems typically and also purchase from transmission utilities. It’s also up to your state and the utility to negotiate rate hikes. I think the PUC is what it’s typically called. I also think a utility operating where you could just switch whenever you felt like it would actually cause prices to be higher because they’d own mixed shared wild infrastructure. It costs a lot of money to put down a whole infrastructure and to also operate. All things considered in most places in the US utilities have not been going up as much as inflation has been. I mean, I don’t know how it is over there in the Midwest, but a lot of this pipe in the ground is starting to need to be replaced and is being replaced with plastic at least in our jurisdiction because it is becoming that time just because corrosion.

Utilities also typically specifically for gas have to strategize just to make profits better. I’m not fully defending them, but they are a for-profit company. Like our utility specifically has LNG plants and buys in the summer when it’s cheaper from the transmission provider so that way things can be better come winter time when demand is high.

You honestly can’t switch providers for power or gas in the whole entire US unless you live on the border of two different utilities even then there’s usually a cost to switch over unless it’s a co-op which I don’t think natural gas co-ops exist that’s just an electric thing. It’s not like electric co-op or REA‘s are much cheaper and they’re supposed to be in the interest of the consumer. There’s not really a solution to your problem. If you don’t like it, don’t use gas. Imagine how weird it would be if there was all these gas lines in the ground between two competing utilities one would just drive the other into the ground anyways because they’d constantly be lowering prices until one goes bankrupt trying to win customers. Also wouldn’t this cause a cost if there was two different pipes in the ground and if you wanted to switch all the time you had to have them come out and switch over?
