While this is frustrating, I do still think the feel of this game is way better than CFB 25. Everything feels a bit less predetermined, especially with passes, pass breakups, etc.

Things just feel a bit more free-flowing.

This play basically sealed the natty for me here. Whenever I run it, the pitch is always perfect and no one is on the edge.

It’s 10x more effective near the goal line. Not a play to abuse but something to catch the defense off guard, if you want.

I know posts like this are made often. But are we serious. I’m a linebacker at cal and we are fucking 3-6… which is whatever, but the way we lose games? My qb is a high rating, he has 12 tds and 12 picks through 9 games. I’ve tried sim, I’ve tried watching the offense… doesn’t matter.

Meanwhile opponent qb will throw a dime in the seem 10/10.

Just had the most frustrating loss ever. We’re up 4, 9 seconds left, back at our own 30.

What are my play call options? Cover 1 man and cover 3… wtf. I choose cover 3, they come out in 5 wide hit a seem game winning td.

Just zero logic behind coach playcalling and half the time when I try and change the calls the SAME EXACT ONES are there too. Just a bad game mode.

Any tips on how to be effective on defense tho? And should I sim when offense comes in or watch?

Does anybody know any dynasty team builder teams that have lots of cool colorful uniforms but horrible stats and prestige and also I’m open to hearing difficult challenge ideas for a dynasty.

This is really weird, but I'm in year 10 of my dynasty and there's never been a white 5-star QB...weird.

Anytime one of my practice drills requires me to select my own plays [3rd &, minute to win it, etc. (can't remember the actual names)] I can't actually complete the drill. I run one play and the the following play call screen gives a message like "waiting for offensive personnel". So, I can't choose the next play and continue the drill. Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you resolve it?

Yes, skill issue, I know, but did the run game get a massive nerf recently? I’ve made no changes and went from a healthy 4 or 5 YPC to like 2.

Just started my first Road to Glory mode playing as a Middle Linebacker. I was a 3 star and chose UNT. I got my first start in the first game of my sophomore year. My problem is my DL all of sudden became incredible. They make every tackle. I’m lucky to get an assist.

Any advice how I can increase my stats? I

I also use My dynasty, Falcon's player progression tool, Dynamic recruiting pipeline, Dynamic conference realignment, Team overall calculation, RO27, pocketscout coach xp. There are some other mods I use but the game won't launch with them atm.

Looking for any recommendations whether it be mods to add, if mods are in the wrong order as most of these are just thrown in there. Other tools to use etc. I was going to give EASN a chance but don't really want to set it up. Trying to make the most immersive living breathing version of Dynasty that I can.

I’m sure this has been posted before. But I’m 30+ hours in and passing is just not enjoyable. For context, offline player, not a good player either. But it’s just soul destroying to watch the CPU make practically every throw and to witness drops, overshoots, flat out lack of time when I’m under centre.

Any suggestions on finding a balance? I don’t want to be losing every game - nor do I want to be dropping 400 yards every game through the air on lower skill settings. But there doesn’t seem to be a middle ground. Either your offense is trash or it’s the greatest air attack ever known. 😤

89 speed and 95 acceleration at 6’4 281 lbs is nuts

This is by far the most frustrating shit in the past 3 years with the game. Am I the only one experiencing this ? Mid-game….. the game randomly just takes me to my Home Screen and all my in-game progress is lost.

Also, why tf does it keep saying I can’t earn trophies because I’m offline ? When I am absolutely in-fact online. But guess what, I went to my trophy case this morning to see if any trophies had saved….. crashed. I threw a beautiful go-ball for a TD right in between the cover 2 corner and Safety. As soon as I crossed the goaline…. Crashed. Twice in one day. It’s been doing it beforehand as well. To the point where I don’t even check my stats anymore after games because when I would do that, the game would crash.

Title says it all. Am i missing something? I can allocate training points to everything but health after 2 games

So I checked the comments on the 2nd iteration, and you guys pointed out ONE main issue with my conferences.

Forcing tradition doesn't really work well in conference realignments all that much in CFB 27. (I had to learn that the hard way, watching GT and ECU go winless in a simulated season.)

So this time, I went back to the drawing board and focused a lot more on power dynamics this time around.

Meaning, power conference teams like BYU and Penn State aren't stuck to the same group as NM State and UConn, respectively.

However, I still managed to keep them as geographically cohesive as possible since that was the main goal I had envisioned with this concept.

But anywho, fire up these suggestions since that's what's been pumping me to reiterate this list!

I have a dynasty with Tennessee and let faizon Brandon go because he wanted too much money and he had a ton of skill caps. He went to Nebraska and now he has 0 skill caps. How is that possible.

I’ve played these games for years, and this one genuinely seems to be the worst yet. I’ve waited a few months to give the game time to grow on me, but it somehow gets worse.

A) The game is crazy buggy. I’ve had delayed button clicks, bubble screens ran as streaks, PATs in green that hit the goal post, etc. That’s not even on top of the cheese plays and the poor blocking. I thought this stuff would be fixed by now, but that was foolish thinking.

B) The dreaded 14-point lead. God forbid you get up by two touchdowns in the game against another user. I know I’m not the first to bring this up, but seriously, you get up big and the game will throw the kitchen sink at you. Perfect defense against, 50-50 balls become 80-20 for the opponent, zero receiver separation on offense, fumbles increase. The game has its rollercoaster moments, so I’m fine if things swing the other way. Momentum is real. But when suddenly my offense gets shutdown (not running the same plays), it doesn’t feel realistic.

C) Too many limits. If I want to play online in Road to CFP, why do I have to play with the teams playbooks??? I love Tennessee, but their offense is cheeks on the game. I’ll never play with them because I’m not running that scheme. I spent way too much time building a playbook to not be able to use it on the primary game mode I play on.

D) This is my last point. When playing the computer, I love the style of interceptions that I throw versus what I’ve never gotten lucky enough to get. The d-lineman that picks the floater mid sack. The mid sack throw that makes it 20 yards directly to the linebacker. I wouldn’t be as frustrated about this stuff if it weren’t for the fact that the computer doesn’t get pass interference or intentional grounding ever. I’m about to sack the QB in the pocket? Slings it out of bounds, no flag. I have a guy crossing the middle and the linebacker blocks him? No flag, either a pick for the defense or my receiver is now covered.

Just needed a place to vent. Last year’s game was way better minus a few tweaks they made. EA should be ashamed of the product they put out there, because it’s not good.
