Preseason Prospect Picks #2: Quentin Coleman or Austin Goosby?
Seeing both become the trendy names for lottery picks despite not being consensus top-20 picks. Both are shooters and kinda shooting guards with some other interesting stuff, from what I can tell.
Who do you think will do better this year and be a higher pick?

1,000% Goosby. Coleman's high variance and probably needs more ball-touches compared to Goosby. If you want to put solid pieces next to a 1A, it's Goosby. If you want someone to handle the ball more dominantly it's Coleman. The latter is tricky as I don't see any *real* outliers in Coleman's game.

I'd take Coleman as of today. Both are very fun prospects and potential risers, but Coleman is much more a complete prospect today, but Goosby is gonna get a lot of opportunities now that Mikey Lewis is gonna miss some time.

Goosby is a toolsy athlete wing with real positional size. playing on a loaded dynamic prep team didnt allow him to showcase his on ball capabilities much. Spear, Spurlock, and Spears handled a lot of the creation.
Coleman played at a traditional high school where he was the helio. Coleman was also very efficient as an off ball scorer in the EYBL. Can be a real combo guard.
Coleman is the more polished player but Goosby tools are so tantilizing. I'd lean Coleman due to existing efficiency and shot creation. Goosby is more of a project.
