Use one finger to point at each of the 5 fingers on the other hand, look confused for a moment (like where do I go from here) then lift the pointer finger for number 6.

I sent this gif to a friend after the league announced the number of picks the Clippers lost, it's a classic

Ik this narrative makes for a great story but I think they would’ve won regardless if they won or lost the 2013 finals tbh.

Impossible to know. The big thing that happened is that they didn’t let one of the most crushing defeats in nba history get them down. Lots of teams lose in the finals and never make it back.

Felt 100% but I think it’s easier to go: “heartbreak ➡️ revenge season” than saying Pop made an uncharacteristically stupid adjustment that cost the team B2B chips.

I'm certain that they won't have the same drive in 2014 had the won in 2013. I remembered Manu said in an interview that the team never recovered from the game 6. And throughout 2013-14, whenever the Spurs played poorly, Pop always brought up to them that their sloppy plays won't be enough to beat the Heats. Their focus was completely unshakable all season long.

The Spurs players didn’t really choke or do anything dumb tbh, Pop was the one who took Duncan out and missed the chance to secure the board.
Kawhi choked at the line too but he was a 2nd year player, it happens.

Failure and spite have fueled a LARGE part of my life.....so I get this.
