Anthony Davis asked the Lakers to add another center because he felt 'heavy' trying to keep up with Embiid and Jokic:

“The strength training I was doing because I knew I was playing center, like I'm going against Joel Embiid and Jokic. And I never like I've always played like 250. And that year I had got to like 265 and it was like I didn't like it. It was actually probably like 268 and I didn't like it. I'm like, bro, I can't play like this. I feel heavy. So I tried to cut during the season but when when you trying to do that while you playing this it was tough. And then that's when I went and was like hey man I want another big and all this stuff and you know it just didn't happen whatever.”

Most playoff games played without a championship in NBA history:
Karl Malone - 193
James Harden - 191
John Stockton - 182
Sam Perkins - 167
Chris Paul - 149

Giannis Antetokounmpo says the Miami Heat are going to win the Championship 👀

“It’s going to happen. It’s going to take time. We’re preparing for something that will take place in June. I know the people I have next to me have the same mindset. Bam wants to win. Coach wants to win. The organization wants to win. We’ll be at the place we’re supposed to be”

Please forgive my ignorance - for some reason I lost track and thought this was opening the regular season. I guess I've been way too "involved" in MLB, and the NFL and NHL. All I can say is I sure look ridiculous. I guess I should have figured all this out when I saw how many players Toronto had used! It was bugging me about that, and I am highly appreciate all of you bringing this ridiculousness to my attention. But that doesn't change my feeling that that frontcourt of Miami looks pretty impressive. But I don't know exactly what Miami's plan for ball-handling is - from what I know about Davion Mitchell from his Sacramento days shooting wasn't exactly a speciality and he wasn't particularly used as a ballhandler, but I think he's progressed considerably with Miami. As for Klay, ballhandling hasn't exactly been a particular focus of his. So who does Miami have as primary ballhandling? Well, Someone really special just shortly retired w-would the great one fit with Miami? Thanks again for all the comments, and bringing me back down to earth about NBA goings-on.

Just wanted to thank everyone for quick replies to my Heat comment. I'm new to Reddit, have opened some communities, but of course it's hard to get postings noticed on new sites. So thanks for taking notice of my posting, and the encouragement to keep posting, especially with my new communities.

I've never been a big Heat or Raptor fan, but I checked out the early box score for the season's opening game and I was really, really impressed by the Heat roster, especially the front line that started the game, but also the most important bench players. And of course the Heat are really taking it to the Raptors, especially since Leonard doesn't appear to be available yet. Yes, as long as there aren't too many injuries to the most important Heat players, we can expect they will be serious challengers to everyone!
