free plugin Just saw on aescripts that Textevo2 is "Name Your Own Price" (Free) now, also got updated after 6 years of silence. ♥️

Hasn’t it been name your own price for a few years now? It’s amazing though I use it every day. Stoked to see an update!

NYOP products generally don't make much profit for the developers, so can't blame them for not having much incentive to update the product once they're got a bug-free version. However in recent times, thanks to AI, it's now far more easy for them to revisit and improve their products. (which might be how this update came about)

That's true. On that note, people are just having the AI do more advanced text effects than this with just a prompt.

Patch notes

  • Fx button : Elastic, Bounce or Oscillation on the strength, with their own controls
  • Presets are applied from the start of the text layer (they could land far after it)
  • Presets saved with an older version are updated (a copy of the originals is kept)
  • Presets keep the selectors / properties added to the text animator, and can save the other effects of the layer
  • Presets : search field, rename, apply on all the selected text layers or on a new one
  • Alt + click on paste / apply : first keyframe at the current time
  • Alt + click on Add : inverted keyframes with mirrored influences
  • New settings window, dialogs in the After Effects colors
  • Many fixes

I wish they added the option to play with variable font, that's the only thing i can't use textevo for and i'm sad about it, it's my most used puglin anyway, glad to see it still maintained, thanks to the dev :)
