Modern Events St. Louis Area

Hello,

I live in O'Fallon, MO and am looking for a place to play Modern, hopefully on the weekends. Does anyone have a recommendation, or know of a place?

I’m in Columbia and a lot of the Modern scene here hits up GameUphoria in Washington for Modern RCQs. Looks like they have a Modern night on Mondays. Not super close to you but I believe they likely reliably fire.

You bet. If you’re ever in CoMo, we have a great player base here. Modern fires every Wednesday at 6:30 at Magelings Games.

What’s the player count usually look like on Wednesdays there? I could be convinced to drive out one time instead of staying in St. Charles County.

We average anywhere from 12-15 most nights. Number can increase if certain Mizzou cohorts have players.

Wednesday Nights Mike & Taylor’s on Wentzville fires every week. Thursday at Wizard’s Wagon in the Loop. Fridays at Collector Store in St. Peter’s. Also Fridays at Impact in Fairview Heights gets like 30 people. Monday at Bodach’s in Lemay.

Collector Store fires on Fridays if the right people coordinate and show up. I believe Dark Side in Chesterfield also has people on Saturday’s for Modern is my understanding. If you wanna travel a bit, Impact Gaming Center in Fairview Heights is the place. They regularly fire off four round modern FNM on Fridays.

If you can make Wednesdays nights work, Mike and Taylor’s in Wentzville fires basically every Wednesday at 630. We typically have 6-12 players. Everyone is pretty great, and it’s always a good time up there. If you’re interested you can DM me and I’ll send you their discord link, it’s pretty active.

Following as I am in the same area looking for more modern tournaments. I've wanted to check out Darkside on Saturdays but havent made it out there yet. I work in west county so could meet up for testing if you like. Feel free to DM

I did. I went to these stores and they say Modern really doesn't fire for them, hence why I'm asking.
