Jeskai blink

Hey,

For the competitive players-has anyone been testing the jeskai blink deck from Baltimore that went 11-3-1? It looks like it would be really good into Broodscale / Eldrazi with 3-4 consign main. I'm looking at it for LA as it does have some interaction on the stack and on the board. I would probably move 1 t3f main and potentially swap Casey jones for fable.

I know the pilot went 0-2 against Broodscale-just a small sample size so I don't want to judge anything based off of that. Sometimes you just draw poorly while the other player is a top deck god lol

It’s fine into broodscale probably 55/45. There’s probably 0% chance they can combo you it’s just a matter of having consign when they have an Emmy. If you get Charmaw Phelia going it’s unlikely they can recover.

Casey makes the 4 main deck consigns playable. Fable is kinda slow, feels weird calling it a 3 mana do nothing, but if you tap out for fable at any point against most of the meta your probably just dead/on deaths door step before you even untap.

The pilot posted a new version of it on his twitter after a 5-0 that seems more into control

That makes sense! I appreciate the input! Casey is pretty strong and allows full use of the consigns in match ups where it’s lack luster.

Broodscale may no longer be an issue after the 12th. MTGO player share of Broodscale is approaching 20%. Something is definitely getting hit in Broodscale, exactly what is getting hit is the question.

Yes I play and an Emrakul ban definitrly makes sense based on what Wizards has done in the past.

I dont think its the correct ban, but it wouldnt surprise me all that much
