There is a mama cat who just had babies in my apartment complex. The last organization came and took the babies but left mama behind, and now she’s gotten pregnant again and has had more kittens. I can pay all costs and donate to an organization but cannot transport/care for the cats myself. I tried the Memphis Area Cat Rescue Facebook and did not have a good experience there.

I'm trying to plan a trip with my girlfriend and her kid, and I'm thinking we might stop in Memphis and visit Graceland. I tried looking up how much it would cost two adults and a kid to visit Graceland, but the answers I was getting seemed a lot more complicated than just a simple number. What do you think would be the best option, and how much would it cost?

I’ve never been super into rap, always more a metalhead. Though three 6 mafia has always been one of if not the only rap group I’ve been into. (Which makes sense in context to they’ve been compared to the black metal of the rap world).

For anyone who was around or grew up in Memphis in the 90’s-early 2000’s was/is it as bad as they made it out to be? Or was a lot of the lyrics sort of “exaggerated” per se like for shock value.

I feel like any ranking I’ve ever seen Memphis has always been highest for most dangerous city in the US, so when people describe Memphis as “Hell” At the time and that’s why three 6 were so dark, it makes sense. Though curious as to how accurate that is/was.

Native Memphian here. I want our city to be great let’s use this thread to discuss small way that we as citizens of this community can make Memphis great. Also, what legal actions could be taken as well.

I’ll go first, the trash and blight in this city is insane. I’ve started volunteering with cleanup and trash picking groups. City leaders should hire more cleanup crews and hold people and businesses accountable who allow intense littering and permissive loitering.

My husband and I have lived in Midtown for over 20 years and absolutely love it. Now we have two young kids, we’re starting to outgrow our house and are trying to decide if we’re going to move out to the suburbs like so many of our friends with kids. For the size of house we need, the cost is mainly the same in midtown vs burbs, so this isn’t a question about budget.

I do understand the benefits of the burbs in terms of the schools and the amenities, etc, so I want to hear from parents who chose to stay in Midtown: what do you like about parenting here? How have your kids benefitted from being in midtown? What have you found challenging? Any insight you can give to explain why your family benefitted from staying in the city, I’d love to hear.

Where can I watch the games this postseason, ideally with audio?

I've gone to a few bars already but the ones i've tried seem to have them on one screen in the corner of the bar with no audio. I know the south is a football/basketball region, but dang.
