Motorola says "Your device does not qualify for bootloader unlocking."

After I pasted my device id as stated in this guide https://en-us.support.motorola.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-b from the lineage os guide for my device moto g 10 power. Help!!! I really wanted to use Lineage before, so I used unofficial builds for my previous phone. But now, even though my device is officially supported... I can't flash this? Help!

Maybe your device is carrier locked? If you click on the "What devices are supported by the bootloader unlock program?", it clearly states that some carrier exclusive devices are not supported.

It's not this was my grandpa's he was using a sim that is different from what I use and it still works. Also my brother had this same phone and he was able to flash lineage...I'm pretty sure it was bought from the same website too.

In that case, the best course of action would probably be to contact Motorola Support directly. Only they can explain why their system flagged your phone as ineligible for the unlock.

never buy a phone from a carrier. you have to buy an unlocked retail version over amazon or ebay, preferably international version.

Try register your device at Motorola Support for warranty.

If done, try unlock process again. Take care when reformat the codes.

Maybe also try different Motorola sites in US, CA or UK.
