so MAGA farmers chased off immigrant farmworkers because Trump said they were taking American jobs, now they can’t find anyone to pick their crops. Funny how the pick-yourselves-up-by-the-bootstraps crowd suddenly needs someone else to do the work

It’s also to bankrupt farmers so that companies like the one vance has stock in can snatch up the farms at a greatly decreased cost.

Government did the exact same thing under Reagan. They gave small business loans under FHA to farmers, then turned right around and reneged on those loans and demanded full repayment after farmers had already invested the money. They had to stand there and watch their equipment, their belongings, and their 2-300 year old family farms get parceled out and get auctioned off.
