so MAGA farmers chased off immigrant farmworkers because Trump said they were taking American jobs, now they can’t find anyone to pick their crops. Funny how the pick-yourselves-up-by-the-bootstraps crowd suddenly needs someone else to do the work

I hope you made the suggestion to your parents that they should go help with the farmers harvest since the people that were "taking American jobs" aren't there to help

They consume different media to us. They are told that everything trump does is amazing, and all they see is these insane lies.

They’re also told that all other media will lie to them. So they never branch out and view any contrary opinions.

So when we tell them they’re being fooled and lied to, they don’t believe us. They grew up thinking that everything on tv is true. They still believe it. But only their media outlets tell them the truth.

The truly unfortunate truth, is that they live in an alternate reality to us. And I don’t know what the solution is.

Source; someone whose parent don’t even live in the US, but they believe in MAGA because they watch Fox News and Twitter.
