so MAGA farmers chased off immigrant farmworkers because Trump said they were taking American jobs, now they can’t find anyone to pick their crops. Funny how the pick-yourselves-up-by-the-bootstraps crowd suddenly needs someone else to do the work

Many of these are multi-generational worth a lot of money handed down. Pay a decent wage and people will work but they would rather have immigrants working for garbage pay. If anything have locals come in and pick it for free and keep it, call your local shelters to give it away if they want to pick it. F’ing farmers are just not that bright.

Exactly - hate seeing all the waste. Any regular business person does the math and factors in a general wage/labor costs when calculating gross and net profits. Many of these folks factor in immigrant wages instead and cannot make it work paying a decent wages. These idiots thought Trump wouldn’t go after farm labor as he is their advocate. They are stupid and he is disgusting. Farmers are one of the biggest benefactors of bailouts and yet they vote against themselves knowing they do better under Democrats - I will never understand it.
