Yea, it's hard to keep these memes updated to skyrocket speed.

$6.49 in Oregon. I love this for all of MAGA

u/RoscoeSgt 1h ago

I saw $9.15 in San Jose a week ago

u/FakePoloManchurian 5h ago

It was 2.34 in WI under Biden until 1 month into Trump's term when it started rising a few cents here and there til we were a full ass 3 dollars more expensive.

The cult of personality is so fascinating because it's been occurring for thousands of years and yet people fall for it every time.

People can't help building cults around these people. It happens in every culture and time period and it doesn't seem to matter how much technology and information exists to provide a show the reality of what a person is saying.

Bread and circuses is so old the original phrase is in latin.

Good point but aimed to people with no ability to self reflect

In my reflection, Biden signed a record number of EOs dismantling Trump's agenda without rebuilding the infrastructure and shut down a key pipeline and refused to sign leases which DIRECTLY led to soaring gas prices. People were pissed. In this instance, theres a war in a region that less than 2% of our gas comes from and the oil companies are gouging prices over it and are under investigation by the Trump administration. So one admin caused it by policy, the other admin is fighting it head on without success yet.

8

u/lilbitsacrastic 6h ago

And the war of choice with Iran had NOTHING to do with it! /s 🙄

-9

u/Maleficent_Grape_858 6h ago

I get it. I hate it too, however, it's not like we abandon Trump for the other side who does it too! How do you want me to make sense of that? Convince me like I want to come to you side of the understanding. Heres the fact: it was up to $5.02 under Biden by his own doing. It is currently up to $4.37 cent (according to current Google search) by his indirect doing of needing to handle affairs in Iran. So why I abandon Trump when this particular subject still isnt as bad as your last administration? How is this a leg you're standing on?

8

u/BoringArchivist 6h ago

Don’t care what you think, no one cares what MAGA thinks, no one wants to convince them, no one wants to talk to them. We aren’t going to change your mind.

5

u/Imaginary_Cow_6379 5h ago

💯 They can tell themselves how more than 50% of the country is just wrong but Trumps pissed off the entire world against us and now everyone both hates us and sees us as a pathetic joke. It’s not just us dumb libturds now, the entire world is against them and laughing at them and they still insist they’re “winning” something.

4

u/lilbitsacrastic 6h ago edited 6h ago

"It's not like we abandon Trump", "Convince me like I want to come to your side"... Lol. Not falling for the perpetual What-Abouisms.

6

u/lilbitsacrastic 6h ago

It isn't just this issue either. You all will never abandon him no matter how may lies he tells, or bad he crashes the economy, how many farmers he bankrupts... aren't you getting exhausted yet of pretending you are even interested in good faith debates and not just parroting his "Truth" Social propoganda?

-7

u/Maleficent_Grape_858 6h ago

Cool. And what's the graph of all the free stuff your politicians offer you that you never get? You still havent gotten free healthcare, free daycare, loan forgiveness, free this free that. Every Dem primary is literally a competition to see who offers the most free stuff and still nothing is free! Lol

Biden's unfulfilled promises: Pathway to Citizenship Fed minimum wage to 15 Tuition-free college Paid family and medical leave Universal preschool Codofying Roe v Wade

Why do you like Biden?

5

u/CuteLingonberry9704 5h ago

No one is offering free Healthcare. Its free at the point of use. You know, after you've paid your premiums? Its hilarious how you MAGATS actually believe that this is actually a good system.

We're merely suggesting joining the rest of the civilized world. But, no, thanks to you assholes, we still live in a country where a 20,000 deductible is something you think is normal.

-1

u/Maleficent_Grape_858 5h ago

Because freedom, dude. Freedom of choice. Someone finally admits its still going to cost and arm and a leg but you guys are willing to die on the hill to put it all up to big daddy government to take our choices, take our money and do it right so that when we go to the doctors, we dont pay a point at that time. I currently dont have insurance and don't go to the doctors. My healthcare cost is ZERO. Thats my choice. It is a choice. Your option takes my choice away. Your option isnt better. Its lazier. Its taking the work out of it for you. Not improving the system. Thank you and have a nice day.

4

u/CuteLingonberry9704 5h ago

Then why are you even in this conversation? If you don't want to go to the doctor and live like its still the 19th century, no one is stopping you. If you lived in Canada no one would stop you. Or Norway, or any other of the dozens of countries that have universal Healthcare. But I get the problem, like most Republicans you're a selfish ass and can't stand the thought of anyone you consider "lesser" getting a benefit from the taxes they pay.

1

u/Maleficent_Grape_858 5h ago

What the hell are you talking about? If I lived in those countries theyd be taxing me for it. Theres no opting out and there'd be no opting out here either if you guys got your way. I certainly have a voice in the matter.

u/lilbitsacrastic 5h ago

Your entire point is, "Yay we pay more for everything and get nothing in return! Owning the Libs only costs the Farm and a decrepid death, in the GREATEST Country of them all!!! So much WINNING!!!"

3

u/Substantial_Escape92 5h ago

For one, he wasn’t an asshole. And two, Biden believed in renewable energy and saving the planet. I can’t remember being offered anything for free during his term. But I can count quite a bit of money Trump has said he’ll give people to buy the midterms. One cares about people and one wants to hurt people. I can keep going. Convince us why he’s so great. He said it himself, he’s going to Hell. We’ll be waiting.

0

u/Maleficent_Grape_858 5h ago

One reason I like him despite all that you say about him is during both terms, theres a huge narrative that he "lines his pockets" yet hes the only president in a century who lost net worth which means he took personal loss to serve this country and if you cant even acknowledge that and continue to lie about him lining his pockets, youre probably wrong and lying about a whole lot too more. Heres some more what aboutism. Obama 8x'ed his net worth during his terms far beyond his salary and Biden 12x'ed his net worth during the 4 years of Trump's first term despite not even being employed anywhere lol.

2

u/ResidentB 3h ago

😭😭🤣🤣😭😭 The Orange menace you worship has made over 2 billion dollars of OUR effing money by scamming his own stupid supporters as well as stealing from taxpayer supported funding for multiple departments to line his own pockets and those of his buddies. But keep on telling us how smart you are for licking his taint. "Took a personal loss" my ass.

He ran to stay out of prison. If he's lucky, he'll die before the end of his term or else he will eventually find himself behind bars where he has belonged for decades after raping children.

1

u/lilbitsacrastic 6h ago

Tell us you only watch Faux News by demonstrating you know nothing about the process and who has killed each of these initiaves. See what I mean, perpetual "What-Aboutisms" you have zero intent to engage in good faith debate, and only want to blow smoke over your Pedo King's failures.

0

u/Maleficent_Grape_858 6h ago

Dude your entire point is "MAGA is terrible because they like a President whos as bad as our President in some areas and not as bad as others." Its not whataboutism, its whats your fuckin point when your dude did worse and we sat through it?

3

u/FaecesChucka 5h ago

Convince yourself by trying to find evidence of the things you stated. We can't argue against nonsense that has no source, it would be like arguing with a turnip.

0

u/Maleficent_Grape_858 5h ago

Google it and quit being lazy. I dont need to copy and paste sources because you cant tap your web app, tap the mic, and verbally ask a question to get an answer. Your just lazy.

3

u/FaecesChucka 5h ago

I meant evidence of all this infrastructure being dismantled by Biden. Sounds like something an idiot would just make up.

2

u/lilbitsacrastic 5h ago

It's spelled YOU'RE. Try using literacy when attempting to make others look stupid.

3

u/CuteLingonberry9704 6h ago

That's not what affected gas prices. I could explain how supply chains were disrupted as a result of Covid disrupting global trade, including oil. However, i expect it would be like explaining supply and demand to a...Trump supporter. They're not known for the ability to think critically. Or sanely. Or understand things they should've learned in high school.

-2

u/Maleficent_Grape_858 6h ago

Go ahead. For the ideology that rushed up to 20 million illegals into our country in a single term who all needed to find homes and now complain that home prices are too high, please explain supply and demand to this Trump supporter.

3

u/lilbitsacrastic 6h ago

See, you are making my points for me.

-1

u/Maleficent_Grape_858 6h ago

I get what your point is: slave labor. Your point is that you want cheap crops by having sub citizens (illegals) here working for cheap labor, while you want everyone else to work for a high minimum wage. In my opinion, this was going to happen for either reason: Republicans deported the cheap labor, or Democrats jacked up the minimum wage. Unless, maybe you wanted those peasants to work for criminally low wages to feed you while you made the good money? Which one was that gonna be?

3

u/lilbitsacrastic 6h ago

You people have been screaming for those jobs, now Farming is collapsing. Better get your family out there and fill the vacancies!

3

u/CuteLingonberry9704 5h ago

Yeah, no, everything you just said there is demonstratedly wrong or an outright lie. Do you just repeat whatever Fox News tells you?

3

u/FaecesChucka 5h ago

Again dude, try finding evidence.

3

u/Substantial_Escape92 5h ago

lol 😂 “rushed up to 20 million illegals into our country…” so you’re dumb and racist? Cool

2

u/maruus24 4h ago

Maybe the iran war affects worldwide oil supply and therefore oil prices. And maybe us oil prices are affected because it is also part of the world.

12

u/some_loaded_tots 6h ago

they cry for right wing government until they get a right wing government

3

u/SafetyCorrect2575 6h ago

They’ll just blame Biden since that’s what there god king is doing

5

u/Illisanct 6h ago edited 2h ago

Don't forget the weekly floatillas too. Remind me again how much gas at the Marina cost under Biden? I'm betting it wasn't $17 or whatever the fck it is now.

4

u/WoodenSwan6591 6h ago

This is funny and sad at the same time. These fuckers will NEVER ADMIT how bad they fucked up

7

u/Fabulous_Log844 6h ago

These kind of posts will just piss them off.

22

u/Writerhaha 6h ago

Fuck em.

-9

u/Fabulous_Log844 6h ago

I don't disagree. But if we are trying to recruit them to vote the right way, this is not the way by pissing them off.

12

u/WoodenSwan6591 6h ago

They will never vote blue. They will have a stroke before

10

u/river_whiskey 6h ago

At this point, it's not just stupid, it's not even a political argument over policy anymore. They voted en masse for this.

8

u/Writerhaha 6h ago

At one point there was a political party that kept diesel prices down, allocated millions of dollars for high speed internet, got them paid through USAID, didn’t close markets, didn’t close rural hospitals and kept subsidies going to family farms.

They did all that, all the while these farmers by and large didn’t vote for them.

If my mean words on the internet keep them from voting for a party that had their back while the current party they support screw them over, they can’t be helped.

5

u/inertiatic_espn 6h ago

Lol you think these mother fuckers can be persuaded? Brother, they are in a cult. There is no going back for them. Nothing we can do or say will change their minds, so might as well shit on them.

5

u/SpendHefty6066 6h ago

There is no recruiting them. They are lost. Spend energy on younger folks and encourage them to vote and get engaged. It is they who will inherit this.

1

u/Slight_Length_2486 6h ago

Your right, but let’s just hope they don’t rig midterms with Elon.

3

u/Im_Just_A_Tourist 6h ago

No I'm not, they should not participate, they lack the intelligence, empathy and understanding necessary to make decisions responsibly that impacts more than themselves, and even then....

1

u/Maleficent-Storm8897 6h ago

Recruiting them would require them to have the emotional maturity to admit they're wrong when the reason why they voted this way in the first place is because they don't have the emotional maturity to admit they're wrong.

1

u/Imaginary_Cow_6379 6h ago

We’re also probably not going to recruit them from a sub created to laugh at them but 🤷🏻‍♀️

2

u/chumbawumbaprinciple 5h ago

It's probably more productive to get them to just not vote. Conservatives take PRIDE in never changing.

3

u/fashionguy123 6h ago

Even the banners have doubled in price!

3

u/haikus-r-us 6h ago

Yeah.. why were they doing that again?

3

u/United-Turnip5987 6h ago

And fox news failed to tell the red hats that trump cut back oil production from Saudi Arabia just before trump left

5

u/rossmosh85 6h ago

I hate being that guy, but there's more layers to this.

In this period, gas and oil consumption was still relatively low due to COVID. There was an oil reserve and as a result prices were low. Not long after this, gas and diesel prices sky rocketed after Russia decided to attack the Ukraine, which completely disrupted the oil supply chain in Europe.

The big difference here is Biden didn't cause the gas prices to go up. Putin did. In this case, Trump caused the price increase by fucking with Iran.
