Project 2025 and the farmer.
I wanted to give you all some relevant info. I see many of the farmers, completely befuddled and taken back at how the second trump presidency has affected them. However he and his cronies were really clear about their plan and intention.
Here is an article from July 2024 from research gate that calls trumps plan a nail in the farmers coffin.
Here is a link to ‘The Hill’ from July 2024 that said trumps plan would lead to chaos.
Trump and the heritage foundation were really clear on their goals and intention. 2025 also laid out their plan to control women’s choices (not just reproductive rights mind you), deport law abiding immigrants, gut our national parks, reduce Medicare and Medicaid, reduce investments in green energy, etc.
None of this was secret. Feel free to spam their feeds with it and keep up the good fight.

What is the end game of Project 2025 that requires to destroy farmers? Transforming them into a poverty class for manufacturing and transforming Latin America into a large scale farm?

I don't know that this is the rationale, but I suspect the goal is to consolidate American farming into a few large agricultural corporations. The 2025 authors may be hoping to increase efficiency via consolidation, shift farming profits to corporate America, and turn existing farmers into employees rather than (relatively) small businessmen.

To buy the land for cheap. In order to transfer farm wealth from farmers to the oligarch class.

Project 2025 is the business model of private equity. Get as much cash out as possible and leave the carcass behind. It’s a large scale of what was done to Sears.

Food scarcity will increasingly become a thing as a result of unsustainable farming practices and climate change. The rich want to make sure they are in a position to profit off that.

Everything makes sense when you view Trump's decisions through the lens of real estate. That's literally the only perspective he's capable of viewing things from.
Hmmmm, I wonder what's being planned in a lot of towns in the US right now that private equity and tech billionaires would love to have a sudden surplus of undeveloped land they've acquired cheaply, from those they've intentionally made desperate, to build on?

When someone tells you who they are believe them.
This was like hiding out in plain sight. I read it in 2024 and felt sick. It’s like 1984 crossed with Brave New World with a dash of Tolstoy and Grapes of Wrath.
The 2024 election was an open book test and the US failed.

I feel like fucking Cassandra, except they fucking TOLD us what they were doing. And there’s so much more than just farmer-fuckin’.
Have I said fuck too much yet? I can’t stop screaming in my head.

Project 2025 proposes eliminating the Agricultural Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs, which “[protect] farmers from substantial drops in crop prices or revenues” according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The plan would also “ban farmers from receiving ARC and PLC payments the same year they also receive crop insurance indemnities,” undermining farmers’ ability to plant the next crop. Moreover, Project 2025 would make it harder for small and family farmers’ to access capital via Farm Service Agency loans and undermine their ability to expand to new markets. The plan also calls for eliminating crop export promotion programs, such as the Market Access Program and Foreign Market Develo

Yea, lots of farmers domestically are producing products for foreign export. The ARC and PLC were oriented (originally) towards protecting small farmers and domestic food supply. The ARC and PLC are both largely now benefiting large farmer conglomerates.

While it is true that P2025 proposes those things, the OBBB actually expanded ARC/PLC and crop insurance, and allowed even more "double dipping" with the SCO and ECO insurance policies.

The economics of farming went to hell under Biden, not Trump. Soybeans and corn are global markets. It doesn’t matter much if one country or another sources their grain away from the US because so many countries need it. We’re just producing too much globally right now.

Project 2025 was already on their website since 2023? I recall circulating for 2 years. Even hit Fox News and they decried it. After trumps first term I think with soy products instead china buying American during the trade war/tariff war. China swap to Brazil, I heard some farmers were upset but they said it was an unforeseen tactic.
Either way fuck em. Let them lose their farm. At least JD Vance and cronies can buy it off cents on the dollar.

If you were a passive consumer of information with your mouth around the propaganda pipe, if you never checked your sources or sought out another opinion, then you could have lulled yourself into this. It was deliberate ignorance. It was a choice.

They won't vote Democrat because in their minds - maybe next time will be better - everytime.

Each and every one of them knew exactly what he was going to do and they went to the ballot box and said yes please.
Fuck them, they got exactly what they wanted and they still cry like the little pedo loving bitches they are.

These people have infinitely more time for sportsball than they do taking part in the very thing that decides their lives and the lives of their children/grandchildren.
Local politics? State? National?
“Nah. I got NFL, College Football, NHL, Baseball, and NASCAR to worry about. Look I already work 9-5, the weekends are MY time. Besides all that politickin just sounds like taking more money of mine for weird stuff like school lunches and fixing roads I myself don’t drive on.”
The same goobers who at family dinners they proudly, while grinning showing FULL TEETH, exclaim loudly that “Remember! No religion or politics at the dinner table! 😁😁😁”
It’s only when they’ve had their noses rubbed into the mess they’ve made on the carpet that they ever actually start to understand something. Well, that time has come.
They’re gonna get their noses smeared into the mess they continue to make until they start to understand “Hey maybe I shouldn’t actively work and vote against my own countrymen to line the pockets of hucksters who don’t care about me.”
But who am I kidding. Community and camaraderie from White America like farmers, midwestern and southern folk? Working with people of color and LGBTQ with the final understanding that they are their fellow countrymen?
Good luck on that one.

those "people" were "too busy" to do actual research on the candidates they support and their platforms but somehow they had time to show up at the polling booth. I cannot fathom anyone who believes they should be allowed to vote if they can't understand the policies and think about how their vote can bite them in the ass.

Farmers will vote for Republicans again and hope Democrats win so they can blame Democrats

Or just look at the chaos farmers went through in 2018 and 2019 when farmer suicide rates, farm foreclosures, and farm related defaulted loans skyrocketed.
Instead farmers that lived through that, chose another round.

There should also be a comic from somewhere. yes, some translated the entire plan into graphic novel form.
I'll repeat what everyone said back in 2023 when it was published, as in, anybody could go read it: it's a difficult read. You'll want to sit down for it, even if you already lived it.

The purpose of Project 2025 clearly states the primary goal is to increase the power of the president. They have taken over the government without having to go through the legal process to change the constitution. SCOTUS and both houses have been taken over. The only remaining piece is the takeover of the military. Hegseth has taken a wrecking ball to the military command structure. Farmers are the useful idiots that helped trump get back in office.

Remember: Charlie Kirk said empathy is a sin. Have absolutely none for the redneck fucks. Rub their noses in their feces at every opportunity, and with maximum cruelty and mockery.
To treat a MAGA like a human being is no benefit, to treat a MAGA as lower than whale shit is no burden.
