Nothing screams rugged, independent free-market capitalism quite like begging the government for a multibillion-dollar bailout because your own preferred trade policies vaporized your customer base.

You voted to burn down the global grain market and are now stunned to discover you actually have to live inside the ashes. 
Broad tariff regimes inevitably trigger direct retaliatory duties on domestic agricultural exports, converting thriving family operations into federally dependent welfare cases overnight. Handing out billions in taxpayer-funded stopgap relief does not recover structural export market share; it simply forces the public to subsidize avoidable self-inflicted losses while multi-generational farms fold under the debt.

All of these farmers have something’s in common. They all watched Fox News which is basically the National Enquirer over the air and they believed all the lies they Trump and them Republican politicians spewed on a daily basis. Now they are paying the price for being so divisive, hateful and ignorant. They want others to suffer so they could benefit but the con-man and grifter they chose to worship and follow had other plans. Like enriching himself and his family.
