Yeah but they're fucking idiots and here we are. Then crying about Project 2025 that they didn't read which said they were going to bankrupt farmers so JD Vance and China could buy all the farmland. Do I feel bad because they are losing theirs or should I feel bad that they voted for fascism instead of America?

u/FriendshipObvious929 1d ago

I had a conversation with a fellow farmer and neighbor who happens to be a MAGA supporter. He’s a much older gentleman, well known and respected in our community. I myself, don’t vote.

My neighbor proudly says he’d vote for Trump again. He and his family thinks Jesus is returning in 3-4 years to vindicate those he calls righteous(the list of who’s considered righteous would shock most folks). To them this is just apart of something he called the tribulation prior to the second coming. He said Trump is some sort of important spiritual figure.

I didn’t really understand his explanation and I don’t want to judge it bizarre. People are entitled to their beliefs. Even if they seem peculiar, to say the least.

He’s a really good guy with some wild views. He has a bunker on his farm that he says is stocked with supplies. He’s been preparing for the collapse since the “Y2K scare.” His words.

u/harpua_2626 1d ago

IMO, non-voters and your MAGA supporter farmer are EQUALLY to blame for the mess we are in. Of all the times to not vote, 2020 was NOT one of them and it should have been obvious.

1/3 of registered voters couldn't be bothered to vote against fascism and now here we are.

1

u/Celtic_Legend 1d ago

I guess you mean 2024? Anyway, youre assuming the 1/3 registered voters were going to vote only blue. They wouldnt.

Youre also assuming their vote would matter, they largely wouldnt. The swing states get higher voter turnout. Pennsylvania got 77.1% voter turnout. But again, if they got 100%, the same result happens anyway.

1

u/bananas_007 1d ago

Couldn't be bothered..? A lot of us are broke and can't miss work, plus they keep closing polling places. Last election they said the wait was estimated to be 2-4 hours and my job gave us one hour off to vote, so for a lot of lower class people that means risking your job and health care. People aren't going to live on the street with their kids. "Couldn't be bothered" lmao. Ignorant, pathetic object.

2

u/skizzlebutch 1d ago

"I myself, don't vote" was the context given, and "couldn't be bothered to vote" is an approriate assumption to make here.

It seems the person you discussed originally voting peculiarly must be way better off than you if they get the privilege of voting (a luxury you cannot afford according to you)

I hope your circumstances improve so that you can take part in the system that exists as we figure out a way to make a better one.

I'm mostly here noting the fact that Billy Billionaire created these factors and thought it best to reestablish the facts of who is the actual ignorant and pathetic fucking problem round here. Aim the ire higher.

1

u/bananas_007 1d ago

I see that, but the person said "1/3 of registered voters couldn't be bothered to vote" so their comment was pretty broad and includes a lot of people like me, as well as people like single parents and homeless people.

I know billionaires are the main problem, but a lesser problem are the people who think that an entire third of the population was like "eh, whatever lolz" when it should be really obvious that probably wasn't the case for many of us

1

u/skizzlebutch 1d ago

Hear hear. Back before organized crime was taken over by private equity there were organized voting drives as an extension of the local bosses and their political machines.

A whole system of drivers and incentives to make sure everyone voted. Sometimes twice sure but the system was being engaged in on almost all levels compared to now.

A true socialist democracy will use the systems of Pendergast and etc, reconfigured to streamline and engage all eligible voters who would benefit from an unbiased structure making it practically impossible NOT to vote.

0

u/FriendshipObvious929 1d ago

The highlight of your life, are the words you type on a screen 😂

Yes I couldn’t be bothered. I am perfectly fine with my decision.

FYI: I plan to skip midterms and any future elections as well. I’m built for whatever comes; just so happens that the farm to table business model was built with this sketchy food economy in mind. Being a 3rd gen farmer with no mortgage keeps the future looking bright for me🖕😎

1

u/jedify 1d ago

The highlight of your life, are the words you type on a screen 😂

Ohhh you're projecting lol

1

u/FriendshipObvious929 1d ago

Sure thing chief! That’s the go to phrase nowadays.

1

u/bananas_007 1d ago

Idk if you're replying to the right person lol, I couldn't give less of a fuck what your circumstances are or whether you choose to vote or not. I was talking to the person who replied to you for generalizing literally a third of the country.

1

u/FriendshipObvious929 1d ago

Well look at you being triggered at a misreply. If the message misses you, let it sail.

Why grab its tails, simply to wail and moan?

1

u/bananas_007 1d ago

I wasn't triggered, the... whole point of what I said is that I don't care what you do lol? It's a free country, whether you vote or not is your choice and you're free to make it for any reason. I think you're emotional and defensive because people are attacking you for voluntarily not voting, so maybe change your tampon and ask your wife for a hug or something and you can come back to the computer when you're a big boy again lmao

1

u/FriendshipObvious929 1d ago

Sure thing. Emotional about a fictional story I created to drum up engagement.

Bruh! Yall really be invested in your opinions. 😂

Every American is equally to blame for our current situation. And the cause goes far beyond voting.

3

u/Infinite_Bird_6932 1d ago

So no nuance? We are all equally to blame?

1

u/MaddogBC 1d ago

From where I'm sitting yeas absolutely. Your taxes pay for the bombs that kill little children in foreign countries. You helped create this monster by paying for it. Every fucking day your criminality compounds.

4

u/Automatic-Sea-8597 1d ago

Why didn't you vote??

-6

u/FriendshipObvious929 1d ago

You don’t owe me an explanation for your vote and I don’t owe you an explanation for not voting.

But it’s nothing banal or narrative driven. 💚

8

u/Any_Check_2430 1d ago

You should've voted though. By not voting, you voted for the shit we're in.

-2

u/FriendshipObvious929 1d ago

We all participate in this “shit” regardless of the vote. These narratives do nothing but feed the flames of polarization.

6

u/Any_Check_2430 1d ago

Ah yes the intellect of both sidesing the argument, excellent job. Your non-vote elected a pedophile rapist ruing the country. Good on you.

1

u/FriendshipObvious929 13h ago

So did your vote for Kamala. 😂

1

u/Any_Check_2430 7h ago

Of course because if she would've won none of the terrible shit that is happening right now, would be happening!

Are we living on the same planet?

0

u/FriendshipObvious929 7h ago

No! We aren’t living in the land of your imagination.

All these what ifs; if only reality was so… 😬

u/Infinite_Bird_6932 1d ago

If you realize Trump is an unconstitutional monster, why didn’t you vote against him? People would listen to your words more if you backed them up with action

1

u/FriendshipObvious929 13h ago

I don’t need anyone to listen to my words. They follow the example I live just fine.

1

u/Any_Check_2430 7h ago

Then look at the actions. Measles outbreaks, citizen murders by a government agency with zero accountability, everything is more expensive, you pay tariffs order something from overseas idiots, a pedophile is our president and won't release the Epstein files that will incriminate him and many others, 34 felonies, at least 1 rape, buried his wife in the middle of his golf course to avoid paying taxes, bone spurs, pussy grabbin', falls asleep all the time, has done nothing but enrich himself and the billionaire class, etc....pick something

0

u/FriendshipObvious929 7h ago

Sounds like you voters made very informed decisions for your lives.

I did the same.

3

u/og_capsuleer_593 1d ago

They highlight how you think not making a choice frees you from the accountability for your actions

Many weak people think if they never make a decision they can never mess up, it is a trick to avoid responsibility

Sad to see so many weak people like you who made a bad choice and cower under this "not making a choice isn't a choice"

It still is a choice to do nothing, hoarders use the same excuses as you for never cleaning and never changing

4

u/Sea_Occasion177 1d ago

Well now we can see why the dipshit MAGA farmer neighbour of yours is respected in your community….

-1

u/FriendshipObvious929 1d ago

Yes prove how glorious and educated you are. Please continue maligning someone simply because you disagree with their choices.

You’re the model human.

4

u/bunnakay 1d ago

Tolerance of different choices is reserved for things like what ice cream flavor they like. We're talking about human rights at this point..

3

u/nerdpunkultra 1d ago

Oh. So he's hilariously stupid.

4

u/flip69 1d ago

This is one slice of the trump supporter pie.
They’re religious Christian nationalists that support trump so he can ruin the planet, support the Israel “prophecies” all so that Jesus will come and reward them while anyone left is punished and burning hell.

That is straight up biblical holocaust worshipping as a death cultist.

This guy should be despised and not respected.

He basically is admitting he wants to see everyone tortured and killed with a ruined planet in servitude to his religion.

2

u/lemons_of_doubt 1d ago

I myself, don’t vote.

So this is your fault too.

0

u/FriendshipObvious929 1d ago

Awe, you’re bothered. My choice has paid off for me. Sucks for the rest of you, that my choices have such an impact on your lives.

You all could vote a million different ways and it still wouldn’t make a difference in my world. That’s your fault!

You can say whatever you like. I can’t determine what brings value to you or your experience.

If you spent more time shoring up aspects of your personal life, you wouldn’t be so affected by my choices.

Sucks to be you; Full of frustration, high minded ideals, and opinions about strangers who couldn’t give a flying frack about you. Thanks for caring ❤️‍🩹

1

u/Any_Check_2430 4h ago

Your choice paid off for you? In what way? Explain it, in what way has your choice made your life better?

1

u/DuntadaMan 1d ago

I say that as someone who was in an Evangelical church growing up:

Judge it bizarre. This man believes the world will end and so absolutely nothing matters. If you are going to be alive in 5 years hois beliefs are an active threat to you because he is actively seeking to end the world before he has to deal with the consequences.

1

u/Alan47717 12h ago

I stopped reading your post after "I myself, don't vote". You're just as much to blame for this as he is.

1

u/FriendshipObvious929 11h ago

My choice served my interests. It’s your job to make sure that the choices of others don’t inadvertently affect your life. Sounds like your problem is your fault. 😂

1

u/Alan47717 5h ago

Tell yourself whatever fairy tales you like to help you sleep at night. Not voting serves no one's interest, especially your own.

1

u/Any_Check_2430 4h ago

So your interests were doing nothing at all, then coming here, posting some bullshit, and getting offended when people call you out! 😂 Man.

1

u/FriendshipObvious929 4h ago

You’re telling off of yourself. Replying to me all over a thread about a fictitious story.

Bruh you’re comedy gold. 🏆

1

u/Any_Check_2430 4h ago

It's only satire if the audience finds it funny. I wouldn't quit your day job.

US AID and SNAP were the geese laying golden eggs of affordability to the folks buying the very commodities they produced.

But those were 'socialism', so they had to go.

Who's buying crying now, Jethro?

20

u/lazygerm 1d ago

Stopping programs like this reveal how very much we did right. Now they get to FAFO.

27

u/AggressiveMail5183 1d ago

I get the sense that farmers are complaining about Trump now just to ramp up pressure for a bailout.  Most of them will end up voting MAGA even if they don't get the relief they want.

11

u/crush_punk 1d ago

All of the complaining farmers will vote against themselves again because they haven’t actually learned the lesson that your capacity to be loyal is not how you make or choose a good leader

2

u/AgitatedRespect7664 1d ago

They voted in their best interest when they were comfortable - racism and bigotry. They cannot see or will ever learn.

1

u/crush_punk 22h ago

This is the Grand Illusion.

Racism and bigotry are not in anyone’s best interest. We have been deceived.

3

u/projexion_reflexion 1d ago

Trump's strategy is to pressure his surprisingly endangered Arkansas Senate candidate to end daylight savings time. Strange.

23

u/Conscious-Quarter423 1d ago

7

u/AppointmentOne1111 1d ago

Should add one more panel of him blaming Biden and immigrants to be more on brand.

18

u/RubyRyker 1d ago

Don’t forget, they also voted for cruelty to and deportation of their work force.
We Libs are sooo owned now! 😫 At least they can comfort themselves with that

3

u/XBMET 1d ago

And that workforce paid taxes and were part of the consumer base.

13

u/littleone696969 1d ago

And now the cattle ranchers have to deal.with screw worms forever as well, because doge thought the sterile worm breeding program was liberal dumbassery and ended 50 years of successfully stopping them crossing into america lol

12

u/brianishere2 1d ago

They also voted to be given hundreds of new lies every day, even more extreme than the lies they got the day before.

12

u/AbaloneDifferent5282 1d ago

And don’t forget the women who casually voted away their reproductive rights. Rights that they were probably born with that other woman had to bleed for them to get.

10

u/IntelligentStyle402 1d ago

Bravo! Couldn’t of said it better. I’m 82 and never realized so many Americans were so hateful and indeed very ignorant.

5

u/Lopsided_Ocelot9634 1d ago

Nothing ever said is more true than this.

5

u/Ddddydya 1d ago

Now that the country has been destroyed by these idiots, I hope we rebuild it and make it more fair with less welfare for these selfish drama queens.

3

u/nando2k50 1d ago

True statements, factual...

3

u/BadBunny4Prezzie 1d ago

And I will never forgive them for unleashing all this evil on everyone else. They would have to redeem themselves over ten years for me to actually ever trust one of them again and make sure I know they're not evil anymore, if that's even possible.

Suffer the wrath for voting in the seven deadly sins. Even Jesus hates them now

2

Fuckin’ rubes, absolute marks, no pity for people who consistently vote against their own self interest. Sad part, they’ll do it again & again & again………

2

Let them suffer the consequences of their actions

2

u/Responsible-Win-4348 1d ago

Give them everything they voted for!

2

They traded it hoping they would get the slave thing back...

2

u/DontAbideMendacity 1d ago

Republican voters are the epitome of stupidity.

2

u/SuitableCobbler2827 1d ago

Well, racism is expensive. But look at the bright side. Half a dozen trans kids aren’t playing sports, bathrooms are gender specific (except airplanes, port-a-potties, everyone’s home, and some restaurants), AND no one feels sorry for farmers who hurt themselves. Hey MAGA! Vote blue and lie about it to your friends.

2

u/castlite 1d ago

3

u/intricate_strands 1d ago edited 1d ago

Most wild at me is you literal at only need at change Trump party affiliation, and nothing else, and every single Republican ever hate at Trump more than any Democrat ever.

But he is Republican and bend over at backward so they find at bad faith argue at why they love at him.

Conservative or liberal, pretty much all hate at Trump before he run. And we know so much less at Trump before he run, and still all hate at him.

He run as Republican and now he is they god. Fuckin wild. All because he encourage and never scold at they hate or racism.

If is some no-name Republican fascist who do all this, okay. Makes sense, anyway. But random fuckin douchebag wannabe reality TV star who embody pretty much at all thing they hate? Fuckin wow.

Just say at they, "you hate is something be proud at!" and they literal at no care at any other fucking thing.

12

u/bms42 1d ago

WTF is this at comment?

2

u/RoseofDianamoonlight 1d ago

I think hes saying change trump name to obama and say obama did anything bad trump did and Republicans will have a seizure

1

u/intricate_strands 1d ago edited 1d ago

No, if you change at Obama allow at racist different.

Just imagine at Trump is Trump, and do all at same shit.

But is Democrat.

Every damn hillbilly and redneck and farmer and 2A lunatic be at capital and burn it down. Same exact Trump. If he do all this shit under Democrat banner, they is lose at they fuckin minds.

1

u/Wakkit1988 1d ago

Like MAGA union people, they don't understand how or why they have what they have, they just assume it's how it's supposed to be and always will be, so they vote for things around it, assuming it will have no impact on the things taken for granted.

1

u/bananas_007 1d ago

They really did have it pretty good and thats why I have zero pity in my heart for them.

I grew up in a smaller middle class town in Indiana, which was of course next to a bunch of farms because it was Indiana lol. The only rich people in town were the farmers, who all had huge perfectly clean pickup trucks and expensive boots or whatever. They'd constantly bitch about how hard life and their work was without a shred of irony when they were the only people with money in town and the ones doing the work were all Mexicans lol

1

u/Celtic_Legend 1d ago

Op thinks there are way more farmers in the USA than there actually are.

Miami voted red. How many of them do you think were farmers? It's not going to be 0.1%.

I'm 99% sure making every farmer vote blue accomplishes nothing. They arent that significant of a population. It would flip Wisconsin but its not flipping texas or florida so it doesn't accomplish anything asside from a chance for Kamala to win the popular vote.

1

u/yeungx 1d ago

Farmers were not fools that vote just because of racism, they are keen political actors that voted for the return of slavery.

Right now normal undocumented worker are freelancers. If they pay is too poor, conditions are too poor, they can just go get a job in the cities. Farmers don't want that. H2A work process ties a documented worker to the specific job, so they have no choice but to put up with whatever working conditions that is provided. They support ICE raid to found up all the free undocumented workers, so their own workers will have fewer other options for employment. When they say they want to keep the good migrants, they mean indentured servants they control.

Farmers are, and always have been keenly aware of their self interest. They only seems foolish because they are hiding their bigger plan. They still support Trump because Trump is pathway by which they can get slavery back. No amount rural investment Democrats was ever going to move the needle. Trump has already removed Biden era protection against human trafficking, reduced the minimum wage, and massively expanded the H2A visa process.

They are only bitching because they hoped the transition in to slavery could be smoother.

1

u/HawgChuggins 1d ago

Immigrants of course, and because why not? I don't wanna do that work, and you trailer trash sure as fuck ain't rushing to those fields. Didn't stop the Republican farm owners from voting away your own livelihoods.

So now all those farmers are losing their farms, and for more and more and more, they are taking a very final, cowards way out. You should see my Cheshire cat grin whenever I read about one of those losers experiencing a sudden stop after a short drop. Same as the one I get when I read about hospitals closing in MAGAt shit holes. And it matches the size when I read about you losers starving.

Now before you run and tattle about how I hurt your feelings, remember, "Empathy is a sin", now go pound a cinder block up your ass.

1

u/Grouchy_Truck5925 1d ago

so who are the racists again?

1

u/HawgChuggins 1d ago

You are. My acknowledging the truth that illegal immigrants were doing jobs regular Americans didn't wanna do doesn't mean I support the abuses that occurred by their Republican employers.

Also last I checked you D minus dip shits were the ones crying about the monuments to the confederates being torn down.
