ここではまだ木曜日ですが、何やら寝づらいです。今週末、友達と一緒にコンサートに行く予定があります。明日、友達は電車でコンサートに通い始めるはずで、明後日僕は飛行機で通うつもりです。コンサートを楽しみにしていますが、空港に行くことを全く楽しみにしていません。😔

「楽しみにする」 is actually a bit more complicated grammatically, but explaining all the details would probably just make things confusing, so I’ll keep it simple.
If you write 「楽しみにしません」 or 「楽しみにしていません」 here, it sounds unnatural to a native speaker. 「楽しみじゃありません」 (or 「楽しみではありません」) sounds more natural.
Also, in this sentence, 「楽しみ」 connects with 「は」 rather than 「が」, so you’d say:
「空港に行くことは楽しみじゃありません」
The reason you use 「は」 rather than 「が」 is that the previous part says 「コンサートを楽しみにしていますが」, which creates a contrast. When you’re contrasting A and B like “I’m looking forward to A, but I’m not looking forward to B,” using 「は」 for both sounds natural.
So the final sentence would be:
「コンサートは楽しみにしていますが、空港に行くことは楽しみじゃありません」

通うwould be a word you use for visiting a place regularly. Such as for school 学校に通う or the gym ジムに通う.
In this instance I would rephrase it like this: 友達は明日電車で（or 電車に乗って）コンサートへ出発するはず（ or する予定）で、僕は明後日飛行機で行くつもりです。
明日、友達は and 明後日僕は is fine, But I would use the above order because you are mainly comparing how your friend are going there vs how you you get there, rather than comparing tomorrow with the next day.1

Thanks so much! I wasn't sure about 通う because I normally use that to convey ''commute", so thank you for the explanation. The ordering explanation makes a lot of sense too.

まず、土曜日朝には居合道練習をして、そしてパートナーの家族に行くつもりです。夏休みから持って帰ったお土産を持っていって一緒に食べようと思います。
日曜日に何をするかは、まだわかりません。
