Keep general discussion civil. If you're a non-Clippers fan wanting to shit on the team without adding anything to the conversation, do that over on the main forum, plenty of that going around there. Brigaders and trolls will be banned.

Discussion This may be a stupid question, but when the Raptors come to town, is Kawhi getting 100% booed? or mixed feeling booed where half boo and half are unsure?

Discussion James Harden is a better All-time Clipper than Kawhi Leonard
Hopefully Kawhi ages and sucks on the Raptors

Discussion Watching FTA is absolutely vomit-inducing unethical hoops
He's such an unwatchable refball grifter I hope Antman shits him down for good. Fake ass MVP. 7FTA's in 4.5 minutes of game action, flopping left and right.
No shame.
EDIT: The phantom fouls have only gotten worse as the game went on.

Discussion Yea we’re cooked in the west
Title. After watching that Spurs OKC game I genuinely don’t see how we will ever be competitive in the west given our current situation. It’s not even like the Spurs and OKC are gonna be done anytime soon They’re both still very young teams. Wemby damn near may be on a goat trajectory.

Discussion Kawhi must stay !!!
I’ve been thinking about it more and more lately and I’ve come to the conclusion I really don’t want the team to trade Kawhi man… The Klaw has done so much for this team and some of my favorite teams to watch. I understand we could jump start some sort of half ass rebuild with jimmy butler/Tyler Herro and some late lotto picks but honestly I don’t want to watch that bullshit. I’m not paying to watch rookies chuck up bad shots and throw turn overs coz they’re young lol. I just can’t really imagine a world where we trade Kawhi because to other teams he may be worth salary filler one young player and like two firsts but to me as a clippers fan for the last 20 years he’s worth way more than that. he’s my favorite clipper all time he’s the first tier one SUPER STAR to ever willingly choose to be a clipper and he gave this franchise a much needed boost of notoriety as a free agent destination. If we do trade Kawhi I’ll accept it but after a lot of reflection if I had my choice he would retire a clipper and get his jersey retired as well. what do you guys think?

Discussion What do you think is holding up the Toronto trade?
Also, what do you think the chances are this actually doesn't go through?
If you do think it will go through, when do you predict by and when are you getting worried?
Left out one more possibility (although could fall under slow new FO) of the Clippers trying to tie more trades into it.

Discussion Garland or Ingram?
If you had to trade away one of them, which one would you choose? From what I read yesterday, Garland might get us two firsts, while Ingram would get us one. If I recall, Garland is 26, while Ingram is 29. Both have a history of injuries, Garland has missed an average of 19 games/year, while Ingram has missed over 30. Both make roughly $40 million per.
Personally, I would keep Garland, hoping he gets an extension. If Wagler works out, they'll be a solid guard combination for us for several years.

Discussion I’m putting in my resignation.
I got into the NBA as a Clippers fan. In 2010 I was in middle school and I discovered the Clippers with a nice looking logo. Then they drafted Blake Griffin and got CP3. I got in at the perfect time. Suffice to say, I’ve seen a lot. I never expected Lob City to be this franchise’s peak. Yet here we are. And yet through the ups and downs I remained. Because all the downs were just sports things. There are countless struggling and middling franchises in sports. What this organization just did to their best player ever, Chris Paul, is not “just sports things”. This is the most disgusting, classless, and repulsive thing I’ve ever seen an NBA team do.
The Clippers, somehow, find a way to be special among the dirt. Not in sense that they’re cleaner, but moreso that they are even dirtier, but in a different way. I genuinely cannot believe how this organization manages to sink lower and lower every single time. I think back to Donald Sterling and those days, and I really thought that would be the worst of it. Don’t get me wrong, Steve Ballmer is a way better owner and person than Sterling, but it just feels like we live in the same shadow of mediocrity.
Anyway I’m not here to provide some analysis, or shit on any of the players of specific people in the org. I just want to state, in this Clippers sub that I’ve been a part of for years, that I’m done. I’m out. Cutting my losses. I’ll be 30 in a few years and I do not want to spend my years of going to NBA games in person to be tainted with more Clippers baggage. This is an organization that is doomed from every single angle. I don’t know which team I’ll follow. I might commit the greatest sin and defect to the Lakers. I don’t know. I don’t care anymore. They have a really fun team. Sue me. I might just become a journeyman fan. Either way, it’s been Fun…Guys 🙏

Discussion Fucking done with this lame ass franchise
Man I loved lob city, loved Blake, loved CP3, I stood by during the garbage years, the injuries, the Paul George trade, for all of it.
But seriously? Waiving our literal franchise goat for what? Because he criticized the coaching team? The same coaching team that has us at 5-16 on the season when we were expected to be title contenders?
His jersey was gonna be retired man. He made people respect the Clippers finally, and now, it’s just gonna be like Blake again where he wants nothing to do with us.
Just done. Probably leaving this subreddit and I’m never going to a game again. Fuck this

Discussion Accuf Jr is a guard prospect developed under John Calipari - Thats all you need to know.
At 6'3 Acuff Jr is taller than someone who is CURRENTLY averaging over 30 in the playoffs in Jalen Brunson, taller than the greatest shooter of all time Steph Curry and Kyrie Irving and Devon Mitchell. Hes also way more athletic and stronger than Darius Garland. He is a much better athlete arguably then all of the men mentioned above, except spider, maybe.
Players coached under John Calipari are
Derrick Rose - Youngest MVP in NBA history, was probably going down as a top 10 player in history if he stayed healthy.
SGA - dont want to comment
Coached John Wall in Kentucky - 5X all star, defensive team player
Dearron Fox
Malik Monk
Devin Booker
Jamal Murray
Tyler Herro
Tyrese Maxey
Reed Shepherd
67% of his players get drafted to the NBA and
39X all star level players
7X All NBA honors and 2 MVP's
Hes also the best player coached by John Calipari in college, think about that for a second, out of all the excellent players that went on to be NBA players over 5 billion usd in market value. The best player coached in College is Darius Acuff Jr.....
