Ask Kuwait Users with iPhone 18 pro/ 17 pro

Due to the vapor chamber feature, does your iPhone still show an “iPhone too hot to use” warning?

I’ve got an iPhone 15 pro and I get this warning all the time while I’m driving, which is annoying because I rely on navigation

Yes, I still get that message, especially when it’s hot or I put my phone near the windshield. I just use CarPlay now.

Nice, would you say it’s a huge improvement in terms of cooling? I’m planning to buy the newer iPhones just for that feature.

Not really when it comes to cooling, but for everything else it was good enough for me. Upgraded from 14 pro so it was a big improvement.

Step one , turn off" background app refresh " in settings-general.
Step two, get yourself a vent mount holder .

I’m on iPhone 17 pro and don’t get it anymore even with a thick case on. But yeah my 15 pro used to get hot sitting in the console just while driving and would display this msg. It’s the only iPhone I had that did this. Titanium is not good with heat dissipation apparently.

This is a real shame. I thought they’d fixed this in the newer models and the cooling chamber thing. After 10 years with Apple, I switched from an iPhone 12 to Samsung and haven't regretted it once.
