When I watched the stream yesterday on a smart TV, I couldn’t rewind, but when I watched it on my laptop today, I could.
In the Japanese caption, Zero tells Odaka that he can’t send backup.
Inazuma Plasma hasn’t been added to the opening yet. Maybe it will be next episode, now that Booster has been introduced?
The way Zero says “World peace,” it sounds like he thinks it should be obvious.
Baku managed to pull all nine of his Capsems again! I thought that Recovery and Barrier being lost in different ways might pose a problem, but apparently not. Per the producers’ blog, however, Nox still has a Recovery Capsem.
According to the producers’ blog, since Inazuma Plasma is specialized in attacking first, they gave it the characteristic of striking a single blow against the enemy the moment it transforms. It also says that Takahashi inserted the Santa exchange because this is the Christmas episode.
Zeztz wields both the Inazuma Blaster and the Breakam Zeztzer, but does not combine them yet.
It’s a little disappointing that Plasma Booster was only used for one attack. The finisher was cool though.
The producers’ blog says that Nox’s discarding of his fidget toy ring was Kamihoriuchi’s idea, signifying Nox parting with the version of him that had been trapped by the Nightmares until now. Many of the props worn by the characters have their own meanings and settings, so keep watching out for the characters’ details! …Now I want Nox’s fidget toy, but it’ll surely cost like $80 when they sell it.
Whoa, Odaka has a real gun! Makes sense, since he was a cop.
Once Odaka awakens, the Japanese subtitles identify him as “Odaka,” rather than “Nox.” This has also been true of flashbacks featuring him as Odaka. However, the last line in the preview for the next episode is credited to Nox.
“Find the missing” is the first mission not to be in the title sequence. Since there’s 25 of them, I thought that would be all the missions in the show.
Maybe TokuSHOUTsu should have changed January 4th to January 5th in their subtitles at the end.
