National Team Post Match Thread: Korea 3-0 Ecuador
What a start to the Moreno era! The lads executed Moreno's data-driven tiki-taka to near perfection on the first game even while missing some of our best players. So glad I got to watch this live at the Big Bird.
Happy 64th anniversary of Korea-Ecuador relations!

Good win without our usual creative players (Hwang In Beom and Lee Kang In). In the first 10 minutes I was wondering if they can sustain the high pressing over 90+ minutes but it worked out well.
On to the next.

Great to see us win emphatically. Idk if Son intended to shoot or cross, but what a goal.

Already like what I see. New manager bounce maybe. Already looks much better HMB.

Not sure how I feel about leaving Lee Seung Woo out of this team. Also, I am not sold on this interim manager. Let’s see where the team is in 3 games’ time.

Wow. What a game. We REALLY needed that for our mental well being. I am looking forward to the next few friendlies.

What Moreno did wasn’t revolutionary. He simply stayed true to some of the fundamental principles of modern football: counter-pressing collectively as soon as possession was lost, providing off-the-ball support as the ball progressed down either flank, and consistently looking to exploit the half-spaces.

Anybody manage to watch this match in the US? VPNs didn't seem to help either for me.

Couldn’t find a reliable stream for it. And the YouTube streams were horrible.

Son with a screamer free kick and curve. Now 1 more goal needed to tie Cha Bum Kuen for all time in Korean Football National Team.
