People who claim they think we have lost our way, or they have no faith in humanity, after the celebrations over the murder of the unitedhealth CEO. The infantile understanding of morality is infuriating.
Brian Thompson knowingly, conscientiously, made decisions day after day knowing, fully aware, that those decisions result in the death of people. Knowing, fully aware, that his decisions and choices result in more homeless children, more homeless families with lifelong debt.
"But thats no excuse to murder...." okay. So this evil man may profit off of preventable death and child homelessness, but what would be worse is putting an end to that? An evil man can do anything he wants for profit and I wont speak up or say anything because the government said its legal to make money that way. It doesnt matter how much evil a person does, how many evil choices and actions they make, nothing excuses stopping that evil by killing a person.
Congrats to all you people who cant stand people celebrating that an objectively evil person is dead. You are so much better than everyone else. Im sure when people celebrated Osama bin Ladens death you were reminding everyone how wrong they were and how much better you are for never thinking murder is acceptable. After all, bin Laden never killed anyone personally. He was the head of an organization and made decisions he knew, conscientiously and fully aware, that his decisions would result in people's death. There is no excuse for killing that person. Especially when you look up numbers and can do simple math to see Brian Thompson was responsible for even more deaths.
It is infuriating to me that people make all this noise on social media, not as an outcry to profiting off of illness, death, and homelessness, but as an outcry to people taking actions to stop the evil of profiting off illness and death. "Its still no excuse" great! Fine! You are better than everyone else. You are such a better person. You are so morally superior. The world you want isnt one where a single family grieves the loss of a father, but one where that father can force thousands of children to become homeless so his company can go from obscene profits to even more obscene profits. Thats a morally better world isnt it?
