Lost and Found 🚨 MISSING DOG — HSR LAYOUT, SECTOR 1, BENGALURU 🚨
Has anyone seen this sweet boy? 🐕❤️
He has been missing for the past week and has stopped showing up at his usual spots.
📍 **Last known location**s:
**Chai Sutta Bar**, 7th Cross, 24th Main Road, Sector 1, HSR Layout (around 200 metres from the HSR petrol pump/police station). He would usually show up in the morning and at night**.**
**Life Line’s Tender Chicken**, 24th Main Road, where he would usually go in the afternoon.
He is an old dog with orthopaedic issues, which is why we’re particularly worried about him. One or two people who regularly look after him have been searching for him.
He is a friendly, gentle boy who has been part of the area. We’re concerned about his well-being and just want to make sure he is safe.
🙏 **If you’ve seen him recently or know where he might be, please comment or send me a messag**e.

News(Animal Specific) Rest in peace , buddy 🤍🕊
I knew this dog since when he was born in 2021. He was around 5 years old now and was kind of superior to other dogs hamare gali mei because he lived here before them.
I used to feed him everyday, sometimes even twice or thrice a day and he always slept on the footpad of my jupiter. Yesterday night , when i went downstairs just to park it inside he was sleeping on it as usual ( or so i presumed ). Usually on the sound of gate opening he'd wake up and sleep nearby so that i can park or do wtv. But this time he wasn't moving , just looking at me and taking shallow breaths. I knew something was wrong so i tried to touch him but he was scared and then when he moved he was dragging his rear legs. Some big vehicle must've struck him at high speed and his backside was damaged.
I tried to rush him to all the nearby vets within 8 km but all of them were closed ( it was around 1.00 am midnight ). So we created a shed for him near our house and fed him milk and biscuits but he just won't eat. He slept after a while , still in pain. I felt bad and decided to call the animal welfare first thing in the morning. And so i did. They told me they'd get there by 7 when i called them at 6 am early morning. I waited and waited and waited but nobody came. We went out to look for vets again but all of them were closed till 10 or 11. We tried calling some of them but mostly didn't respond a few that did only told to bring him after 11.
At 9.42 , unfortunately , this baby couldn't fight anymore and died. I was on the first floor preparing milk for him and when i came down to feed him he was just lying there , lifeless , tail straight. Something shattered inside me. Going out now just doesn't feel the same anymore. I hope wherever he is , he's not in pain.
With love and care for everyone that reads this , all these cuties are dependent on us for their life so please love them.
Thankyou.

Adoption/Foster Request Please read. My heart is broken.
Yall I saw smth yesterday that really really broke my heart. I have an ailing dog at home that is my love and we are gonna lose him soon. Last night during an emergency, I checked online vets who can take a look at my dog immediately and found Petnest. After the appointment, i was just going through the app and found the Adopt a pet section and it broke my heart soooo bad. Like ive been wanting to cry. They buy pets and then any minor inconvenience, and they wanna get rid of them. I have literally seen reasons like “my daughter doesnt want it anymore” “too busy to take care.” And so many were senior pets, lived with them for 8-12 years and now looking to be surrendered.
Anyway, if anyone here is interested and actually will be able to give a good life to these doggos, do go through the Thepetnest app’s adoption section.
Edit: +1 to all the comments saying they’re better than people who just abandon their dogs on the streets. I do agree that these people are atleast trying to give their pets a better life by giving them away instead of dumping them or giving them a bad life. Im just astounded that people are able to give away their pets after keeping them for years for lameass reasons. The already aggressive and senior dogs would be terrified to start over.
This post is not to discourage the people who want to put their pets up for adoption when they cant give them a good life

My community cutie A cute story yall will like.
Hello guys. I am Bhairavi’s mom. This is a cute story I felt like sharing. So to go a lil back Mishti and Sundari were 2 female dogs in my community who got pregnant together and then ended up having a litter literally 2 days apart. Long story short the puppies died due to many reasons I’ll not jot ( distemper being one of em ) and my Bhairavi survived( Mishti’s daughter ). Now Bhairavi and Mishti used to be a mother daughter duo. And Sundari used to feel pathetic. She used to miss her kids. You could see that on her face. Months passed now and on a random morning I am seeing mishti is looking a lil bit ill. She kept on crying and crying. I got a vet to look at her. The vet said it’s phantom pregnancy. ( Lovely vet indeed /s )
Now that same evening I went to check on her and I see a frikking pink puppy. With pink paws and nose and brown body. I lost it. Like I was the happiest. She was named “Asamay” because she isn’t born at correct samay lol. I frikking love her. I call her Toto.
Pasted a few pics for reference.

Events A guy is threatening that he's about to poison and brutally kill the street dogs
I'm just so overwhelmed right now... basically this guy had been beating up the street dogs in our locality and I take immense care of those dogs so me and other community members confronted him... at times obviously I had to get a little rude because I just couldn't keep up with seeing how he traps the dogs inside of his house, beats them brutally with a big rod, and the dogs keeps screeching and crying, shouting in pain... I've lashed out screaming angrily on him every single time as his actions always raised my BP to the highest count possible... out of ego he has now said that he's going to poison and kill the dogs very brutally... and I can assure y'all he's a big psychopath and might as well do it... those are 3 street dogs... I can't imagine without them... those souls are so innocent, pure... howtf can ppl do such devilish things... I'm a 17yo girl and he's a 30 yo big man so my mom has told me to stay away from him and nit indulge in more arguments... BUT WHAT DO I EVEN DO NOW!!
I am from India and I seriously hate the animal laws of this country, brutally beating up a dog costs hardly 10 rupees.. yes you read that right... and no one cares.. if you call the police they're of ZERO use... I hate this world... I feel so bad and depressed the whole time cuz of this whole dynamic.. I love the dogs...

Discussion Need Advice
Last night I found a very weak community street puppy who couldn't walk properly, wasn't eating/drinking, and had some drooling. I took him to the vet and briefly kept my hand near his nose to check his breathing. He did not bite or scratch me.
The vet suspected canine distemper. Blood tests showed liver damage, very concentrated (“thick”) blood, and CDV Ab S5 (high antibody level). Unfortunately, he died at the hospital.
I am currently already on a rabies vaccination course (3 doses completed, 1 remaining).
Do I need any additional precautions or rabies treatment after this contact? Could this be considered a rabies exposure?

Events Dogs are being harassed by our neighbors, new lafda loaded
Two dogs from the other block, Chintoo and Chinti, come to my doorstep every day and sit there peacefully. They eat their food and just stay there quietly without bothering anyone.
But our neighbours, with whom we recently had an argument because they used to throw garbage in front of our house every day, keep throwing things at these two dogs and chasing them away. They don’t even let them eat properly.
If I say anything about this, I’m afraid it will lead to another argument. I really don’t know what to do. Every day, there seems to be a new person ready to pick a fight over something.

My community cutie Pablo & Family is back
My sister relocated Pablo's family from Indore to my village. It was no easy task, as they needed proper accommodation; so, we first prepared a dedicated room and a play area for them in our home, and then moved them from the crowded city to the peaceful atmosphere of the village, located 200 kilometers away.
