Hey everyone! 👋

My girlfriend and I have been working on our first indie game together, Family Business, and we'd love to get some feedback from people who enjoy horror games.

It's a first-person horror game where you work the night shift at your uncle's burger shop. At first, it's just a normal job: take orders, cook burgers, serve customers, and keep the shop running.

But as the days go by, things start getting increasingly strange, and you begin to realize there's something seriously wrong with the place.

We've been working on this as a tiny 2-person team, and we've just released our free Steam demo, which lets you experience the first few days of the job.

We're especially interested in hearing what you think about:

• The atmosphere and horror elements
• The cooking and serving gameplay loop
• The pacing and overall experience

We've even had CaseOh play our demo, which was honestly an incredible moment for us as small indie developers!

We're currently preparing for our full release on November 13, and any honest feedback would genuinely mean a lot to us.

A brutal VHS-era action nightmare

In this episode of my Outlast let's play, we finally meet Dr. Wernicke — except it's NOT him, and this ward is way worse than the last one. What follows is a torture scene I was not prepared for, a chase I lost more than once, and an elevator that nearly ended me.

Outlast gameplay from the asylum ward, with everything you'd expect: hiding in vents, blocking doors that don't hold, screaming at things that aren't scary, and one very questionable doctor.

We are exactly one month away from releasing our game, and the nerves are definitely kicking in. Purrfect Bliss is a cat cafe built on a very dark history. We wanted to see what happens when you mix a relaxing barista simulator with pure psychological horror.

During your night shift, you have to balance serving customers and taking care of the cats while trying to uncover the terrifying truth of the building. As a two-man indie team, reaching this 1-month countdown feels surreal. I honestly wasn't expecting much from this game, but the more I played it, the more interested I became. It's an indie point-and-click game with 14 different endings and some extras, with a style inspired by 90s MS-DOS games.

I should mention that I removed the explicit scenes to avoid any issues with the platform.

Synopsis:

Nie -Sacrifice- is a psychological horror game by Japanese developer basue_no_okiya, in which you follow a miko (shrine maiden) who is subjected to a sacrificial ritual. Over the course of three days, you can interfere with the events through different actions, influencing the protagonist's fate and leading the story toward multiple endings. With a disturbing atmosphere and elements of grotesque horror, the game explores different narrative paths, where each intervention can drastically change the outcome.
