The new DLC tab is separate from the normal workshop tab. The update also adds new visual improvements that will be in Black Mesa: Blue Shift. Pure speculation but we might actually see an official release for Blue Shift!

I hope y'all like them, feel free to give me any recommendations on what to render next!

it's genuinely crazy how they pulled this off back in 2003

When Half-Life 2 leaked in 2003, it came with 30 demo files recorded around early-mid 2003, a majority of which were broken.

I’m happy to share that I’ve managed to repair all of them into “playable” states, including all of the E3 2003 presentations, as well as several early unseen demos. There are some animation errors present due to asset changes between when the demos were recorded and when the leak happened, but I’ve tried to repair them where I can and will be doing more repairs later (which I will upload to this drive).

I don't know if this fits in the sub, I really hope so since I wanna show this off.

I don't have any meaningful progress right now, I'm still trying to nail down exactly how to pull this off. But what I do have is a meaningful scale comparison to various objects!

1 pixel = 1 block

I'm unsure if I'll be able to add an interior or not.. I'll try my best though

OVERWATCH is a complete Half-Life 2 Combine desktop for Linux: boot menu, boot splash, login screen, lock screen and a full desktop shell, all in the style of the Combine interfaces from City 17. It runs on Hyprland and is written in Quickshell.

No game files are included. A script copies the art, sounds, fonts and soundtrack out of your own Half-Life 2 install, so you need the game on Steam.

What's in it

• Top bar with workspaces, live CPU / memory / GPU telemetry, network, volume, battery
• Launcher with search, clipboard history and emoji picker
• Floating windows with title bars, snapping, minimize / maximize, taskbar, live window switcher
• Control panel: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, brightness, power profiles, do not disturb, and a radio that plays the game soundtrack
• Notifications with Overwatch dispatch sounds; priority alerts get the scanner siren
• Lock screen, idle broadcast screen and session menu
• Stealth mode (SUPER+B): one key turns it into a plain, silent desktop for work
• Matching Limine boot menu, Plymouth boot splash and greetd login screen

Since years, some people were making theories saying the HUDs are canon so Gordon himself sees them too. Some people said gordon was wearing a helmet that shows them, but turns out he doesn't wear a helmet. So this topic was a mystery. How does gordon canonically see them?

Suddenly, i found a simple idea for that.

Gordon's glasses are "smart glasses". He sees all those gui from that.

Yeah confusing and weird. But after thinking a bit, you realise it perfectly fits because this is a science-fiction.

I thought nothing important about him wearing glasses until this day. When i saw a smart glass i suddenly figured this out.
