She is out and about in NY City to serve as Honorary Chair at NYC Ballet. The piece is Gabriel Kahane's mirror/sky (landslide), an original composition for orchestra and vocalist specifically described as an homage to Stevie Nicks's “Landslide.” For last night's one-time gala performance, the New York City Ballet Orchestra played the score and singer-songwriter Haley Heynderickx performed the vocals, while Justin Peck's pas de deux was danced by Tiler Peck and Roman Mejia. Is this the only time all five of them played this? it's beautiful still almost 10 years on

I love only over you, it genuinely is a non skip song and I fully immerse myself when it comes on. If anybody knows similar songs I would love to hear them. As popular or unpopular as they come, I don't care I just love it.

I guess there indeed was intense silence when she walked into the room...

While I DO absolutely get why some don't, the production was choppy; Christine wasn't included, among other things. I'm not saying I have no idea why it didn't sell better than, say, Tango, of course, but, wise, I'd say it being in testing evolved and having a lot of emotion, I loved it personally; it's my favorite album.
It by no means was perfect; it was even statistically the best Fleetwood Mac album-wise if hit after hit, but it had a life inside it

The theme to this song seems to be about someone suffering from depression. It seems to for tell what happened to Bob 28 years later. RIP.

They had so many times when it would have been ideal for them to work outside Fleetwood Mac, but the only one we have is "Twisted," and while I love the song, they had so much more potential as a duo. I am happy they went solo and did their own thing, but their work together will always be a what-if

I know it's been said a million times, but that electricity between them left me shook when I saw the very first airing of it on MTV. He could have turned his back on her but he locked in.

Referring to Stevie and Lindsey. I know there are a million reasons to believe they would never get back together romantically but I have a feeling that it may not be that unlikely. I could be totally wrong but there are a few things:
1.The timing of their renewed contact coinciding with Lindsey apparently being separated and moving toward divorce
Losing people close to them and going through health scares might make them more aware of time passing or looking for companionship (speculation)
Lindsey: “Stevie and I talk all the time”, “a resurgence of connection”
Personalities mellowing with age and their shared history becoming more important.
As far as I know they both still live in the general LA area so it would be geographically possible
With their age, wealth, and independence, they would likely have a totally different relationship than they did back in their 20s. I’d imagine living separately, reminiscing, frequent calls, support in times of need (hopefully with much less volatility). Just a very low key companionship, which is pretty common for senior citizens
Just a huge fan speculating, but I have known a few people who reconnected with old loves later in life. Does anyone else feel like this is a possibility? I just hope whatever they are doing, they are happy in life.

The album has been in my life for all these years but I haven’t played it front to back for a while until today. Talk about holding up over time!
Obviously, the band is made up of some of the most talented artists in the business. We know this. But right now I’m noticing just how tight the arrangements are on Rumors. Like how the drums really drive the song Dreams, the drum fills are sparse but perfectly placed. And you almost don’t notice the funk beat underneath You Make Loving Fun but you can hear it surface a few times. The music in Go Your Own Way sounds slightly frantic, at times like it’s going to spin out of control until it comes back together before getting frantic again. I’ve always loved the part of The Chain where it’s only the bass and very faint drums until the rest of the music slowly builds back up to a climax. F’ me if this album isn’t timeless perfection!
Yes, I know it’s preaching to the choir to say this in the
r/FleetwoodMac subreddit. Whatever

Ok, so this has been driving me a little mad these past few weeks, but I swear that on "Only Over You" Christine sings "My heart's your future, your future WITH me". I've replayed that part a million times, have slowed it down and isolated the vocals and I can't stop hearing that th sound. However, everywhere I look online the lyric is always stated as "your future is me", particularly on the official vinyl lyric sheet (ofc these aren't always the most reliable).
I'm curious what any of you think about it. I really do think it's "your future WITH me", but "your future IS me" is more lyrically satisfying and playful, since HER heart IS his future and HIS future IS her. I'm also more fond of that line lol, it's very pretty
