If Pete Davidson was a woman, he'd be labeled as the woman who fucked his way up to the top. He just gets a pass because he's a male. It's one of their privileges.
I went to one of his shows last year because my friend had tickets and it was so terrible that I fell asleep, but I do remember he made a horrible joke about his dad burning alive and then cracked up at his own joke.
I find it weird when I see him in interviews or around 9/11 talking fondly of his dad while looking melancholy because he frequently uses him as a punch line to vile jokes.
I know he’s a comedian, but I still believe it’s disrespectful AF.
I loved his comedy pre-Ariana Grande. Thought he had a fun voice and his self-deprecating style of humor worked for me, idk. Since then he's mostly just been outing himself as a piece of trash, and his whole comedy schtick doesn't hit the same.
ETA: Also there was a time when he was a big advocate for mental health and addiction resources and seeking help.
He's a fine comedian. He's just the biggest man ho I can think of right at this moment. Like David Duchovny levels of "get your sex/dating life together dude what is going on"
Also yeah I don't really get how he pulls like he does. He's funny and obviously has charisma but idk if the looks are there. And I don't particularly believe the rumor of a big dick, because while I am not a woman no way this many women are going after a guy just because he's funny and might be big
From what I've heard his BPD makes him extremely intense in the beginning of a relationship I think a lot of women of famous women might like this cause of all the vapidness and casual feeling a lot of other famous people give off. But then long term the BPD obviously becomes an issue that's why his relationships burn so fast
A year ago he was performing in my town. I was never a fan but my girl friends had tickets so I went with them for a girls night. He wasn’t funny. No joke, I fell asleep and my friend woke me up when it was over.
It’s the “old boys club” doing what it always does: promoting and protecting mediocre men. Because if he was a woman, he would have already been called everything but a child of God. He would be considered a ho, a pass-around, someone who’s sleeping their way around Hollywood, you name it. Men (and plenty of women) would never run out of words for a woman who behaved the way he does.
I mean I feel like people in general has been labeled as someone who fucked his way to the top. Here and on like 90% of anything I have ever seen of him is just people talking about how he’s only known cause of his dating history

he probably doesn't even do it on purpose, it's such a standard bpd symptom for your romantic relationships to go like this. honestly at this point i'm more just surprised that they all seem to think it won't happen to them despite every single previous relationship going the same way... like girl you're not a therapist, you ain't gonna fix him 😭
Yeah, he's talked about the diagnosis publicly since 2017. Small pushback on love-bombing though. That word implies he's doing it on purpose to reel women in. With BPD, the all-in intensity at the start tends to come from fear of being left, which is a lot less calculated and still rough on whoever's on the receiving end. He's accountable either way. I just don't want people leaving this thread thinking BPD and love-bombing are the same thing.
Uh? It could very well be just sex (though I think it’s about PR and attention)—women have causal sex all the time. Not everyone needs an emotional connection to have sex with someone.
I used to be obsessed with “I hate u, I love u” by her and gnash, I can’t believe I haven’t checked her other music out yet bc her voice in that song is lovely

That he would often have fits of rage where he would destroy furniture and anytime she tried to end things with him he would threaten to hurt himself. So she felt stuck in the relationship

Next day, she learned that he was with Ariana Grande through some gossip website. He'd uploaded images of himself to Instagram showing that he'd covered his Cazzie tattoos. She was devastated. On the plane to her sister's college graduation, she was held by her dad as she "shook uncontrollably in his arms for the entire flight." She curled up in the hotel's bathroom, crying and sucking on her weed pens.
She woke up "screaming in agony," her dad pulling her from the bed to stop her spiraling, "SIZIE, COME ON!" "YOUR ANCESTORS SURVIVED THE HOLOCAUST!"
Pete said “they actually began their romance the night of the Met Gala”, so definitely before his and Ariana’s respective breakups.
I feel for Cazzie of course (and hope she’s doing much better now!), but from a distance, a helpless dad yelling, “Come on!! Your ancestors survived the holocaust!!” at a girl while she’s sobbing crying throwing up over Pete Davidson is so funny. The fact that the helpless dad is Larry David is just the cherry on top.
I mean, what more can you say about a man whose father was murdered by terrorists financed by Saudi Arabia and then goes to perform for a comedy festival designed to launder their image on the global scene?
Haven’t most of his celebrity relationships ended this way? I know Cazzie David experienced something somewhat similar when he started dating Ariana Grande
not a pete davidson fan or anything but i remember a few years ago she went on a podcast and talked about him, saying they were hooking up essentially when they were in the same city and never officially dated, made it seem very casual. i wonder if things changed in retrospect for her. as women we definitely gain perspective as we get older.
This is wild because he went out of his way to publicly say he did not date her like 4 years ago. Not at all a diss on her, but idk why he decided to single her out when he’s had sooo many dating rumors. Not famous enough maybe?
He truly has some nerve bashing women when we only know him for dating famous women. Dog on women for doing "nothing", I couldn't even tell you a thing this man has done besides serial date women & gain fame from said women. Trash
I hadn't heard of Olivia O'Brien before and just googled, she is beyond gorgeous. He is always with women that are miles out of his league, it's baffling.
