She didn’t hate it (contrary to what her facial expression may be saying). But I definitely need to find her one with more pizzazz.

Rewarrrrrd: I wait. I stare out into the void not knowing what to do with my spare time now that I have so much of it. Truly— what now?!

My first DCC cosplay was supposed to be Hekla for Dragon Con this year, but I threw together this Princess Donut for a bookish event (Calan Mai, HoFaR) and ended up loving it so much. Princess Donut would certainly hate it, but everyone’s a critic 💅

I don't have words to describe how utterly incredible everyone was! It's the likely the hottest DragonCon on record and likely the largest group photoshoot at DragonCon ever. But DCC fans do not disappoint! Y'all turned up! I appreciate everyone that made it out, the volunteers that kept it organized, the photographers shooting this insanity, and the Hilton staff and fire marshal for not shutting us down (it got close). Here's a sneak peek at JUST canon Carl and JUST Donuts and Mongos.

They're assless.

We FINALLY took the nice camera and got pictures of my Lucia cosplay in her glory 👏🏻 I’m so happy with how it all turned out 🥹

I had been up since 3 am traveling to Atlanta for Dragon Con and was having a cranky 10 pm argument with my bf about what panel to attend when the man himself taps me on my shoulder to say he loves my cosplay.

I just point at him grinning (though he can't see my smile through the mask) and gives me a hug. What a really nice dude going out of his way to meet fans, I didn't see him at all!

Bunny Sledge cosplay for Dragon Con Bunny Hutch night

Well, I still have some tweaking and to build his axe, but other than that… is any costume ever really complete.

I have to redo some of the tattoos as they definitely faded in the humidity of the day but I'm in love with this photo of my Tsarina Signet from the Dungeon Crawler Carl meetup at Dragon Con!

Thanks to everyone who said hi, exchanged gifts, patient authors, and friends new and old!

Wife and I had a lot of fun at Dragoncon this year.

It’s not done yet, still have to put in the eyes and mount the ears, but it’s getting there! Posting progress photos of the build so far.

I've had a ton of fun documenting my Odette build on Instagram (same username as here). So happy that despite some personal setbacks she was completed and ready for Dragoncon. I did make the boobs into Dirty Shirley dispensers but never had the chance to actually use them. At the group photoshoot I was too busy helping run the whole thing. Maybe at some point I can get some video of the set up. The bra stayed on for most of the con, except at the photoshoot. I did warn DCTV that it wasn't safe for broadcast.😅

Music by the Desperado Club

My Lucia made it past pre-judging for this years FanX cosplay contest 🥹 so excited to bring her on stage this year 🙌🏻

I didn't find a file, that was hollow.... And I wanted to be able to hold stuff.

So, I made my own. (these are for a cosplay, for multiple people. Also, it only took about 10% longer to print 4 than it did to print one.)

Want to 3d print your own? I got you! https://makerworld.com/en/models/2910117-carl-s-jug-o-boom-you-can-put-stuff-in-it#profileId-3254601

2 months ago at ECCC I had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing Carl cosplayers. Their outfits were incredible and the craftsmanship/dedication was insane- except for one thing.
DOGS ON THE FLOOR. Do you know how filthy the Seattle Convention Center- or *any* convention center is? FILTHY. The stories I could tell about the things I’ve seen on those floors.
If you’re really determined to pay the daddy tax- for the love of god, WEAR THESE. They’re adhesive, they’re reusable, they go on the bottoms of your soles and are invisible unless you intentionally flash the bottoms of your feet.
Ringworm or cuts on your soles from floor trash is NOT worth cosplay accuracy my friends.

Edit: these specific ones are called Bare Naked Feet sole stickers, but if you look up “barefoot sole stickers” you’ll find em!

WELCOME TO SAM TOWN!!

(My strength is makeup, not photo editing, so please don't look too close or else IWKYM!!)
