DOA News Happy Halloween Glasses (Helmet) free content now available
in a free Halloween themed update each character can now equip a Jack o Lantern over their head. comes in 4 color variations, all of which is free. and yup, it does fit over Raidou's hood and is bigger for bigger body.
this is a pretty unique item since in vanilla DOA6 this wasn't a thing even in the paid DLC.
the patch also mentions:
"- Fixed bugs related to battle mechanics.
- Corrected various bugs and issues."
which is not yet published but will include prior announced changes for Minato:
- Fixed a bug where T:Yarare's side could not take off the passive during Minato shuffle
- 61H against enemy low punches: Fixed bug where Yarare's side could not take off the pass.
- Backdash: Adjusting Travel Distance
- Adjustment of priority for some commands
- Relaxation of input judgment for some commands
changing backdash will be a nerf i believe, other stuff may help her. she is a pretty mid/low tier type character, so she needs what she can get.
we shall see if the October roadmap is unveiled soon, or if it's next week. 🎃

Its sad that this is the best new content DOA6LR has had... and on top of that it's free, lol, But I mean, we were once so lucky to get a whole new Halloween variation of the Lorelai stage for free in the better days.
Or maybe it's more sad that I'm honestly shocked they didn't charge $10 for this. And shocked that they'd provide the option for us to entirely cover up the face of their cute new schoolgirl so soon after her debut, lol. This isn't helping us figure out who they think their audience is now.
Tbh, I've never been in favour of extreme silly customization in DOA like we see in Namco games, I want new costumes to be thoughtful to each character rather than random nonsense, but honestly for DOA6LR they might as well at least go full hog with it if they're not gonna do anything actually substantial.
I want to see a snowman head for December. "Do you like snow head? *w*"
Let's have a cabbage head month too, lmao.
