Discussion Fragile mentality?
So I just had a weird discussion with some friends about "being rude" in this game. One was trying to say that saying that our team is playing bad, or making mistakes is "rude." The other guy was saying it isn't because the statement doesn't call out any one player because we all were objectively screwing up and making mistakes. I'd argue it's MORE rude, entitled, and even toxic to call someone rude for making that statement. Then my friend called me rude too for agreeing with the other friend. Is DFO's player base really this thin-skinned where any form of criticism is seen as a personal attack? If players really have gotten to that point then they honestly need to get off the game and go see a therapist.

So yes and no. It sounds like your friends are kinda thin skinned.
My brother calls us out directly inn fortnite, nit because we "played bad" but because "ok so this is the mistake that cost you. This is how you improve and avoid that." It has honestly improved my game 10fold.
And that's how you should treat it with your friends.
"Ok so i saw this happen, the gimmick is this, do you need to practice that gimmick?"
(Actually dfo should have a gimmick practice room. That would help so many people.)
