besides char siu black cod sounding delicious, honestly really love the mind game going on here by making black cod look like tuna. only minor recommendation would be cutting your scallions very thin on an extreme bias for nice long pieces, just a thought

I actually really enjoy shredded scallions. You chiffonade them lengthwise, then drop them in ice water. They curl up into a firm nest. You can then torch the nest to get some char color and flavor and then arrange them to your liking.

also would be great! maybe dressed with a bit of rice vinegar and mirin after charring
