U have a legit newbie question. Aren't all Basque cheesecakes burnt? Hence, is the title redundant?

Two dairy-based components as the largest two things on the plate?
Rethink the ice cream. The cheesecake should be able to stand on its own without the need for crutches.

looks and sounds delicious. my only critique is thats a lot of dessert. i would maybe do a smaller piece of cheese cake (smaller radius and thinner slice).

Isn’t the cheesecake the main component here? I think removing the other parts makes more sense than thinning out the main event

I am so lazy with my desserts I don't bother with all of the extra garnishes but this looks super nice. Perhaps a little teaspoon quenelle of ice cream not a scoop tho
