u/kushari 23d ago

Also doing it from all the way on the right.

55

u/ladyelenawf 23d ago

They needed the space!

27

u/KittyIsMyCat 23d ago

The cop didn't even try to slow down traffic for them!

The level of idiocy and ineptitude… In an ideal world this would mean an immediate license suspension and only able to reinstate after thorough driving school and exams.

Not even enough, I think you should have to go through a separate impaired intelligence/emotionally dis-regulated driver program. Said program should requires psych eval, sign-offs, year+ of professional instruction. At their expense. Don't want to do it? Ineligible to drive again, for life.

If you are this fucking dumb/selfish to do this, you are in a special class of extremely dangerous driver.

u/Wild_Journalist_7115 23d ago

Love it! Impaired intelligence / emotionally disregulated program lol! I think it would take 10-20% of the drivers off the road, because likely due to the proliferation of cameras we witness more idiocy on the roads

I’m definitely half meming, but I think you’re on the money. There’s probably about 10% of drivers who should not be driving.

Some people genuinely have an incompatible temperament - too angry, too anxious, too distractible, people that shut down when anything unexpected happens, etc.

u/cdoublejj 23d ago

that would def be fitting for the road rage video i just saw

u/ZeusTKP 6d ago

If you fail this hard you need to pass an extra difficult exam to erase all doubt.

Man that was as convenient as it gets lmao

u/PolliverPerks 23d ago

That latency of the cop going wtf before turning on his lights.

19

u/The_Cozy_Burrito 24d ago

What a clown…

29

u/bobathefett135 23d ago

I'm pretty sure I heard the cop give a long sigh

Where and what intersection is this? So I can avoid it in the future.

12

u/DeathsEmbassy 23d ago

Saw a road sign for Major Mackenzie Drive East so possibly Markham

4

u/Zizouz212 23d ago

Richmond Hill, that’s going south on Leslie.

2

u/bugabooandtwo 23d ago

Markham or Brampton. That seems to be where the worst drivers gravitate to in Ontario.

1

u/uwgal 23d ago

I don’t know, man, things have been going rough here in Oshawa lately. Sometimes I can’t tell if I’m on Simcoe Street or Markham Road.

1

u/bugabooandtwo 23d ago

I hear ya. Starting to happen all over the country.

3

u/ThisTelevision9372 23d ago

You might as well don't drive at all then....

1

u/skibum2_nj 22d ago

That was no intersection, hence the problem

America (kind of) solves this issues with islands & medians installed on arterial roads, to act as a u-turn deterrent/traffic calming device. Maybe Canada should adopt this in more areas.

14

u/Pterodactyl8-6 23d ago

Do you really think Canada doesn’t have the same type of infrastructure the US has? We have medians and islands as well, this just happens to be a road that doesn’t have one.

-2

u/ChopperGunner187 23d ago

this just happens to be a road that doesn’t have one.

Which is why I said "should adopt this in more areas". Didn't mean to piss in your Maple Syrup.

12

u/graffiksguru 24d ago

Love the choice of music for this one

11

u/midwestCD5 23d ago

It simply amazes me that some people are this idiotic

10

u/spankmydingo 24d ago

“Good luck everyone!”

9

u/FairfaxDude 23d ago

Dude the level of rage that would be flowing through me, some drivers man

10

u/DaveOJ12 24d ago

Here's a YouTube clip of the Family Guy scene.

u/HipToTheWorldsBS 21d ago

The fact that we share the road with these insanely fucking stupid mother fuckers in infuriating.

5

u/RefelosDraconis 24d ago

“I’m sorry, eh”

3

u/BigRinka 23d ago

What a moron.

2

u/Arx0s 23d ago

Need to take that idiot's license away forever.

2

u/Zemom1971 23d ago

Omg I am so hard right now

2

u/Fizbanic 23d ago

Guy not realizing they have mirrors, drivers are scary just as much as....

Riding a bike on a sidewalk....

Note: Most Canadian cities/provinces once a specific age or the tire diameter is met all bikes are to be on the road. Just a FYI before the down vote trolls hit.

As this is in Richmond Hill ish area, yes you cannot ride on the sidewalk here.

2

u/MaintainThePeace 21d ago

FYI, the are not riding on a sidewalk, they are riding on a multi-use trail, hence the wide pavement...

3

u/manimsoblack 23d ago

I just got back from the store and someone pulled this exact move in front of me. My wife and I were baffled.

Good luck everybody else!

1

u/CTRL_Hotdog 23d ago

Honestly, ill take the hit on negative karma for having this awful opinion, but this video 100% should have had that stupid intensifying sax music everyone hates instead of ITHOTMK imo

1

u/Sethmeisterg 22d ago

Hope you gave that footage to the guy who was hit

1

u/Big_Primrose 21d ago

Bonus points for comedic use of “In the Hall of the Mountain King.”

1

u/dapperdongottie 20d ago

Take that license… shred and burn it

1

u/Cali_freak 18d ago

"officer she just turned right into-" "oh yeah I watched it happen you're good"

1

u/spike_beagle 12d ago

How did you get footage this clean!? Cameraman final boss

1

u/nutbustininthisshet 3d ago

I need to see the coding in his head that lead up to this decision

1

u/WilliamJamesMyers 23d ago

i bet it was a feebleminded individual being yelled at by their GPS to u-turn and go the other way.

1

u/Geruvah 23d ago

I was like, "The camera is moving to the intersection pretty slowly. This must be a long lead up for someone abruptly turning there"

1

u/OdysseusRex69 23d ago

I got that Family Guy reference 🤣🤣
