Last second Legend with Herald-Rafaam lock. 68% win rate with a 98-47 record. Noticed a lot fewer Warriors in the past two days, but played two of them in my promotion games.

I’m loving this meta honestly. Priest can be tough but there are counters. I’m hoping to try out the mill rogue later tonight with MOTHER. I’m around diamond 7 but hoping I can use my boost to hit legend next month before the expansion comes out. If anyone has better ideas, I’d appreciate help! I’ve tried a lot of the meta decks but nothing seems to stick for me.

Curious how Mother works for you. I feel like being able to cheat out ysera with nararlax might work better but curous how it goes. Can also use it to cheat out the dragons that return enemies to their hand if need be.

Need some deck to get clutch legend on last day.
Tried most meta decks, I just get steamrolled and cant get past 2-3 diamond.

Had most success with drake warlock but got cucked hard 1 star before legend.

I see no messages and I assume most people bored of the Hearthstone. So I bring you not so competitive but very satisfying deck which gets additional cool points for using very unusable cards - Mage's Fabled card.

So it is basically Leylines + Fabled + M.O.T.H.E.R. Mother can make one of the Dragon's 0 mana and quite often other one 1 mana. Mother itself could be drawn with Leylines and played for cheaper. Even resurrection spells is becomes reasonable with Leylines and Mother Discount, so I don't mind tempoing the Fabled Dragons. For OTK I use Contraband Wands since they are better than other Arcane spells as neutral game tool. 1 Arcane Missile is 6 damage (8 with Thalnos) and we clean up the board with Bursting Leyline so it almost always goes face.

Sometimes you high-roll and can do absolute disgusting things with this deck quite early (5-8 turns). Unfortunately, you still very vulnerable to stat vomit decks playing perfect curve and really depend on good Leyline minion curve.

Some card explanation:

• I play some Dragons as cheap Fabled activator. Portal Vanguard to tutor minions and very interesting addition is Darkscale Broodmother - you often draw it with discount and then it refreshes 1 or 2 mana. Even when it pays for itself it is nice to have 0 mana Dragon for Fabled Dragons.

• Thalnos for additional damage, mostly as survival tool in early game + draw. I've used Prepareable Geomancer initially but didn't like it much, feels like you never have time to prepare it. 1/3 Dragons with 2 SPD might be interesting too, but I never had good moments with them; it is too hard to activate and also get value from them.

• I don't use Shattered spell since the hand is often full and it is a weird card to draw from Leylines - sometimes it fills the hand and burns needed cards. Stellar Balance feels very bad, Discover 2 arcane spells from the past feels not reliable and you almost never have time to play it without discounts.

• I don't play Smoldering Grove card since it feels weird keep in generally aggressive meta where we play very defenseless deck. While I had game where I did regret not having it typically you draw enough and have enough cards to play at any moment.

The deck have chances against all decks with good draw, but since it is a Mage you don't have it too often. I have 24-21 score in Platinum rank including games where I just conceded and games with unpolished lists. I feel like Priest is very good matchup and I have 7-2 against them, 4-2 against DK and they mostly aggro DKs.

My biggest problem with sindragosa right now (i am huge fan of it), is the lack of copy for it. it doesnt change the bad matchups for burn mage (attack druid and dragon warrior) and doesnt cause faster kill on warlock priest or rogue.

Ill never believe in leyline and this was my take on the list but mother just kind of a dead card that blocks arcane flow

One way to copy Sindragosa is use Tribute Dance discounted by Mother but it is quite bad card on its own (although might be good against some match-ups like Egg decks). I generally do not try to play exactly for Mother in the Mage decks since surviving 9 mana while maintaining extravagant deck idea with enough surviving/drawing is very hard.

I like Leylines here and Contraband Wand because you don't even feel like copy of Sindragosa is needed compared to other Arcane payoffs especially if you get decent discounts from drawing spell. Leylines are also Arcane spells and allows to make miracle turns with either of Fabled couple.
