Built an app that creates a personal news briefing of the world events

I was thinking about news aggregation initially, but this approach could be also effective for other things as well. For example, if you go on vacation and want to get highlights of what happened on work Slack while you were out. Or if you're looking at a new project and want to see an overview of the major pieces in it.

You might consider adding https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal:Current_events

It's one of my favorite news sources because 1) it allows you to view days other than today (like your app) 2) it has brief summaries 3) it links more in-depth details of the overall situations (vs a news article which is a mix of what's new today plus some background on the topic) 4) it's very broad in scope.

can we run this with clojure runtime as well?

The core logic should work, but it would need a bit of porting as it's using a mix of Jolt and JVM libraries right now.

Thanks! It's been my daily driver for the past couple of months, so I've been shaking out a lot of the remaining issues and JVM compatibility gaps dog fooding it. I can't wait to see where it is in a year or so. :)
