Hey there I am just curious if some of you may know whether a non ofp person getting posted in has the ability to move there family with them?
For example I know NWOs (RCN) can, but Inf Officers cannot pre-OFP.
Do any of the RCF officer trades allow that? Or other element officer trades allow it as well?

Posting for a friend.
The Situation:
The accused is a reservist on Cl B. This involves a sexual assault case with a victim and corroborating witnesses who were willing to testify. The evidence included screenshots of text message history spanning several months, in which the accused explicitly acknowledged on multiple occasions that the sexual contact was non-consensual.
The Investigation & Legal Process:
The MP forwarded the case to the municipal police departments where the assaults took place, as they occurred across multiple jurisdictions. One of the municipal PDs took the lead on the investigation and subsequently arrested the member at work, with the cooperation of their employing unit. The member was then placed on leave.
After a few months, the Crown Prosecution Service elected not to pursue the charges recommended by the PD. They stated that the case did not meet their two-part charge assessment standard: likelihood of conviction and public interest. The victim was advised that the likelihood of conviction standard WAS met because of the trustworthy witnesses and the chat logs. However, prosecutors determined the public interest threshold was NOT met because the victim was not under 16, no weapons were used, and it was not a domestic relationship.
The Current Issue:
Following the Prosecution Service's decision, the member returned to work as if nothing had happened. Our understanding of DAOD 9005-1 is that DMCA should still be involved. ARs operate on a balance of probabilities.
However, the it appears that the CoC has stalled completely?
The Adj stated: "If he wasn't charged, that means it was consensual!", the CO stated: "Maybe he just needs more mentorship.
There has only been a verbal acknowledgment within the CoC that the member should perhaps not be staffed on career courses where they could interact with potential vulnerable candidates.
Resources Used So Far:
We have engaged SMSRC social workers, the SMSRC military police liaison, and chaplains. They have stated that the way this case has stalled is inconsistent with CAF policies.
What are our next steps? Can we push the CoC to forward this to DMCA for an AR, or what other avenues of support/complaint do we have left? File a grievance? Media?
Thanks for reading!

Is it doable?
I already had a degree before joining as a RegF NCM. But I didn’t apply to officer because the VIE was too long. But I feel that my work experience, academics, and CFAT were competitive enough to apply to RegF Officer.
When my VIE is finished, I hope to CT to PRES as an officer instead of NCM. I feel that If I was never a RegF NCM and I apply to PRES officer as an off-the-street applicant, it would be easier.
What can I do now?

I'm a current jack in the army and currently in the middle of application for Commission under SCP for LogO. I heard that LogO Army does BMOQ-A. Does SQ Land/ DP1/PLQ counts to write off BMOQ-A? Or do I need to do it regardless?
Thank you!

How do I clean the shell of these things to remove the stains? And the insoles too?
Is there a way to waterproof these by any chance? Perhaps a waterproofing spray?
And if yall have any tips on using and caring for these to increase longevity I'd really appreciate it!
I can't exchange them— I'm a civilian and bought these recently.
Thanks yall!

Please help 😔 My unit recently had our range weekend to re-qualify on the C7, and I did exceptionally bad. I’m a fairly new private, I’m only recently OFP, and finished BMQ in April. Somehow, I did really well with PWT 1 during BMQ, even with no prior shooting experience, but given how horribly I did with PWT 2 this past weekend, I’m thinking that was a fluke.. I’m a medic so we didn’t do much with the C7 during DP1 this summer, and I guess I lost any skill I had with it.
Can anyone give me tips on what exercises they do, or positional training or anything like that, that can help me get more steady in the sitting and kneeling positions? I know shoulder strength is important, and I’ve incorporated a lot of pull ups, push ups and DB shoulder circuits into my workout routine, so I know arm stability will improve as I get stronger. But I’m having a really hard time getting the rest of my body to not feel so unstable and uncomfortable in the sitting and kneeling. I can’t seem to find a good balance in either position, and no matter how I rest my supporting elbow, I can’t stay steady enough to take a good shot.
Maybe it’s my hip and ankle flexibility/strength? Does anyone have any tried and true practice tips that helped them improve their shot? Are there non-obvious stability exercises I haven’t thought of for arms as well?
Any suggestions are super appreciated! I will redo both PWT 1 and PWT 2 with my unit again in May I think, and want to be ready to do the best I could possibly do.

We recently interviewed mental performance consultant Zoran Stojković about his move from working in elite sport to working with RCAF student pilots at 2CFFTS.
We asked him whether anything he’d learned working with athletes turned out to be a poor fit for aviation, and this was his answer.
I thought the distinction he made was interesting. A lot of the psychology of performing under pressure carries over, but the context obviously changes when the people you’re working with are preparing to operate aircraft and eventually fly real missions.
