I always thought origins was a pain in the ass, which is a shame because it has the coolest weapons. The mud, and constantly backtracking to power stations back up, and the panzers feel impossible to kill at times.

Nuketown is a person favorite, right behind moon. The chaotic energy the map brings on 4 player games and randomness of everything makes it really fun to play

Origins set a new bar for Zombies and its essentially been a comparision point ever since. One reason Der Eisendrache had such hype was because of four elemental bows. Anytime a map has four different elemental weapons it just seems to ace it. Missed opportunity for Rex Infernus, having 4 different weapons associated with each god.

Origins. I love Mob but I don't find it as replayable mostly due to having to get the plane parts every time you want to go and pack a punch. Origins isn't perfect either but PAP and all necessities are more accessible and theres a lot to do on the map.

Origins just set the bar imo.

Set up the best age of zombies, introduced features that true quest style map and Easter egg, and felt so grand. The music, robots, staffs, just everything makes it feel so special and important.

Buried the best, more original feeling map, where is mob and origins feel like proto-BO3 maps with the innovation and depth.

They feel huge and like there’s so much to do, but also like there’s much to do if you want anything to work at all. It’s not a big issue for someone who’s played a good amount of zombies, but Buried’s setup is more casually fun. It’s more wacky with Leroy, the bank, the PHD permaperk, the paralyzer and buildable hijinks. It has the Chad Vulture aid, two versions of the EE for replayability, the mad dash through the witches house and garden maze, etc. The list just goes on for a long while of little things that make me love Buried more than any other BO2 map without a doubt. Love the other maps as well, but especially when you’re playing with friends that might not know too much about zombies, Buried just works alot more smoothly. Genuinely the peak of Jimmy Z maps.
