PSA: PLEASE think 10 times before you donate money to someone on this sub.

1.8k Upvotes

It's in our rules and we say it time and time again, but after the recent events from this post, the mod team wants to put out a reminder.

Look, we get it. Seeing cats in distress is hard. When people without money are expressing their inability to afford emergency care, it's distressing. You know we have rules against shaming people for being unable to afford care, and encouraging people to go into debt. But we also have rules against fundraising, and it's for a very good reason.

It is very easy for people without the best intentions to collect lots and lots of money from well meaning community members who are affected by what they see in images and video.

With this post in particular, several commenters encouraged the OP to share a gofundme (something strictly against our rules).

Once they created and shared one (without any bills to show and despite many of the top comments saying this was NOT an emergency), people felt bad and donated anyway.

The gofundme raised nearly $2000 and today we received the update that the cat, as many commenters predicted, is not dying and did not need emergency care.

We are now starting to see meta posts (another thing we don't allow) complaining that the OOP is not returning any of the extra funds, and is blocking users who donated asking for their funds back and proof of payment.

This is a story we see repeatedly in the sub. We don't always get to the donation links quick enough to remove them, and we can't stop you from DMing each other money, but this is why we caution PLEASE do not use this subreddit to send each other funds.

We are working on a Wiki with low-cost vet resources, at least in the US, but we get users posting from all over the world begging for money. DO NOT DONATE unless it is verified on a subreddit like r/gofundme or r/rescuecats, or is directly being paid to the VET (though we have seen scams happen internationally through this 'direct vet payment' as well).

PLEASE REPORT FUNDRAISERS. Please do not encourage fundraisers. We will start banning those who encourage it. Please help us keep this community safe from those with bad intentions.

Thank you and good day!

Announcement [READ THIS FIRST] r/CATHELP Rules Reminder

Hello there

Due to a growing number of cat crises and a surprising number of people who cannot read a sidebar, we’re now regularly posting this rules reminder. This is here to prevent both:

  1. repeat offenses, and
  2. the inevitable “I didn’t know!” mod mail we get after your post/comment disappears into the void.

If you're new (hi, welcome, pet your cat for us), or returning and rusty, please take a sec to read this. It’ll save you—and us—a lot of headache.

STRIKE POLICY: Break the rules once? We warn you. Break twice? Temp ban. 3 strikes is a perma-ban (unless you're a mega troll).

1. BE NICE

No, really. Be nice. You are talking to someone who is probably stressed, worried about their pet/a stray, and sleep-deprived. Reddit is not your venting space to shame people who are already anxious. Educate, don’t humiliate.
This includes a zero-tolerance policy for berating or shaming OPs. If you can't say it kindly, don't say it here.

In addition to this, know that we get posts from all over the world. Sometimes it's people who live in a village, 500km from any formal vet care. Often it's a minor who cannot make a unilateral decision for the cat in question. Be compassionate! Bullying them won't help the cat.

2. NO SOAPBOXING OR OFF-TOPIC DEBATE

(Definition of 'SOAPBOXING' here.) Yes, letting your cats outdoors isn't great for the environment. But this isn’t a debate club, and PLENTY of things harm the environment besides cats. People come here from all over the world, with different cultures around how cats are cared for. People come here about strays. No preaching!! Take your cat care bible elsewhere! Either give OP helpful advice about their issue or move along.

Don’t derail threads with politics, don’t pick fights across multiple comments, and definitely don’t start fights with the mod team. We don’t get paid enough.

3. VET FIRST, REDDIT SECOND

If your cat is injured, bleeding, gasping, or pooping blood—call a vet.
Reddit is great for guidance, second opinions, and shared experience. It is not a substitute for veterinary care.
If you haven't called a vet yet, our advice might be limited.
Can’t afford one? Look into:
• Payment plans or CareCredit
• Local rescues and shelters for assistance
• Low-cost clinics in your area

Still post if you need to—but know that our first advice will probably be: call your vet.

Additional note to commenters: no 'Vet. Now.' comments will be allowed without context. If you think they need immediate care, explain why. Otherwise it's just creating panic and those comments will be removed.

4. NO FUNDRAISERS

Sorry, but GoFundMes, Venmos, PayPals, and “please help save Coco” links are not allowed, even in comments. Too many scams, and too hard to moderate. Try subs like r/Assistance or r/GoFundMe instead.

5. NO BULLYING POOR PEOPLE

We get it. Vet care is expensive. It's frustrating to see cats suffering. But complaining about people who can’t afford a vet is not allowed. Full stop.
Suggest rehoming? Fine. But if you’re here to shame people for being broke, please find another sub.

If someone is struggling financially, ER visits are not really something they can just save up for, nor is it realistic to expect them to just get rid of their pets they have emotionally attachments to. All we can hope for is people really think long and hard about how a pet will fit into their finances before they decide to adopt or take in an animal from street. You simply can’t help them all, there are too many cats for that.

6. TAG YOUR GORE NSFW

Bloody wound? Surgery pics? Graphic medical stuff? Weird rash? GAPING FUCKING WOUND?! Mark it NSFW.
That includes genitalia (gender ID posts) and poop/vom. You know who you are.

7. ON-TOPIC POSTS ONLY

This is not r/aww or r/cats. This is r/CATHELP. We are here for:

  • Requesting anecdotal experience with medical issues •
  • Behavior issues
  • General advice
  • First-time cat owner questions (yes, 'noob' questions are welcome!)

That means:

  • No “What should I name my cat?”
  • No “Look at my cat in a hat!”
  • No memes, no fluff.

Posts that don’t have a clear help-related question will be removed.

8. NO BREED QUESTIONS

Unless your cat came with pedigree paperwork from a breeder, they’re a domestic short/medium/long hair. That’s it.
We don't do breed speculation. Why? Because it’s almost always wrong, and it clogs up the sub.
Want to know more? Here's a guide to fur patterns, and here's a general answer to 'what breed is my cat'

9. NO SHITPOSTING, NO KARMA FARMING

If your post is clearly made up, AI-generated, or you’re just farming karma with a low-effort fake, we will yeet it. And probably you, too.

10. NO BRIGADING

If you don’t like someone’s post, do not go hunt them down on other subreddits to insult them. It’s petty, it’s bannable, and Reddit takes it seriously.

11. NO PET SALES OR BREEDING

We do not support the cat trade or backyard breeders. Period.
Don’t try to sell or give away pets here. Don’t ask about breeding. Don’t promote purebred aesthetics. Shelter cats are just as cute.

BONUS REMINDERS

• If your posts or comments are disappearing, check your karma. If it's low, Automod probably ate it. Message us for manual approval.
• If you see rule-breaking behavior, REPORT IT. Automod can’t catch everything.
• If you’re confused or unsure, check the [wiki] or send us a modmail.
• Read the stickied comment on your post. It’s there for a reason.

TL;DR: Help cats. Be nice. No scams. No BS. Read the rules.
Now go pet your cat. They probably knocked something off the counter while you were reading this.

General Advice Why does my cat do this?

My cat has been doing this for YEARS!

He's around 11 years old and maybe one or twice a week he will drag his toy around the house, meowing and doing the weird walking with the back hunch. If you try and touch the toy he walks away from you and then will continue.

He stops after a while. It seems to usually happen when we go upstairs and he is left "alone" downstairs.

Is this concerning? Or his he just a weirdo?

Update Cocoa over the rainbow bridge

About a month ago, I had to put my cat down and it was extremely tough and I wish I had done a lot more prep work and understanding what would happen in the place of an emergency.

She was about 10 but she may have been 14. I’m not sure because I got her from a shelter. The whole time I had her she had a really bad cough which we thought was kitty asthma I took her to the vet and that’s kind of what they determined. Her blood work at the time of adoption 2 1/2 years ago was apparently fine. About six months ago I noticed she was pulling out chunks of her hair, but there were no changes to her environment. She eventually stopped doing that. I came home from being gone for about two hours and she came out from her normal spot and was unable to walk in a straight line. She kept wobbling and falling over of course this freaked me out terribly, and I started to panic. I tried to ask the Internet, what I should do, but I knew a vet visit was necessary. During my time trying to get a filmed footage of her issue she fell over and started yaowling in pain. She did this for about 30 seconds and then sprinted away as she sprinted away poop fell out of her butt. I went to find where she ended up and she was on the bathroom floor just looking up at me breathing very fast. I scooped her up my poor baby, and I put her in her cat carrier where she continued just laying there looking at me, but breathing very heavily. My current vet was unable to get me in that day so I had to call an ER vet. This is what I mean when I wish I had been more prepared having ER vets numbers and general information directions, etc. and also having a list of questions to ask.

I brought her to the vet and on the car ride, which was about 15 minutes. She pooped on herself and peed. That was pretty unlike her. She had never missed the litter box. Clearly something catastrophic had happened. I brought her into the vet. They rushed her to the table and looked for her eyes and listen to her belly, and they took her temperature from her rectum, but I think it was really low like 96 or less I remember them remarking that they weren’t even sure it was in there because the reading was coming out so low. Then they took me to not a normal diagnosis room but the euthanasia room with the nice couches and pictures of pets and dimly lit lamp lit room. The whole thing was a bit of a blur. In the three days leading up to her problem, I had noticed two events of her running away, and then I looked to see where she went, and there was a trail of fluid behind her. it must’ve came from her mouth. It was kind of viscus saliva. Given that the vet took me into a euthanasia room instead of a normal room they did say they could do some test. They were not forthright in saying that there was nothing we could do or what they thought it would be. They mentioned it could be some kidneys failure or maybe a tumor but they said they wouldn’t know without blood test and an MRI. I asked for the information about that but they didn’t return with it instead I it was all a blur, but they came back and my cat just still could not stand up so I said I can’t take a cat like this home can I she can’t walk she can’t be left unattended and the vet said no that it would be your safety hazard and I said do we put her down and she said that that would be reasonable and so that’s what we did. I’ve spent hours and days talking to ChatGPT and trying to understand what was wrong with her. Do any of you have any clues? I’m getting over it. I’m accepting it and I will get a new cat when I’m ready, but my Cocoa was the absolute sweetest animal I’ve ever met.

In the future, I’ll be better prepared with direct questions to ask the vet and an emergency plan in place just in case something like this happens. I love my kitty.

Breathing Issues Is Creamsicle okay?

He’s had this for a couple years now. Orange tabby American short hair. About 5-6 years old. Adopted him when he was 1. Neutered and got all the shots before I got him.

My first ever cat. No experience. He eats wet and dry food and has lost weight (ever since I put him on a diet). Home is relatively clean. Changed his litter to paper pellets. He loves Churrus.

Took him to vet 4 months ago and they wanted to sedate him and do many tests and X-rays. Some people I’ve asked said this is normal. Please let me know. No hairball comes out when he does this.

Edit, more details: first vet in Brooklyn said we should try some anti-worm medicine. I gave him that and he was fine.. sometimes he coughs and sometimes it happens more frequently. Latest vet at my new place was also not very worried. Didn’t want him fully sedated. I will try another vet soon. He runs a lot, climbs, jumps and is friendly and good natured. No signs of discomfort other than 10-20 seconds of coughs every couple days. I feel so bad for him. I got him with my ex who was a cat lover and expert. She left us. I send her pics of him and sometimes some videos and she ignores. Wish I had more support. Had 0 cat experience before this. I love him to death. Don’t be mean please. He’s the best cat and my best friend.

Another edit: enjoy some of his photos. I posted some in the comments. He is very handsome and healthy apart from his occasional cough. I promise I’ll do anything to help my friend. Will ask for xray and will go ahead as long as it’s not gonna have him fully sedated. We sleep together every night. And we play all the time. He always begs for food but he’s getting more than enough :)

Eye Issues Potential neurological issue in kitten.

Hi, i'm slightly worried about one of our kittens. Got them 2 weeks ago, and within that time i've noticed her eyes are a lot smaller than her sisters, she sometimes dazzes out with her tongue out, and i'm not sure if her eyes are delayed when following a finger or something. Other than that she seems fine, eating, drinking, playing normally, and they'll be going to the vets next week for their vaccine so I will ask about it then, but for now i was just wondering what other people's opinions are on this (they are supposed to be 10 weeks old now) She does the same with her eyes with food as with my fingers ADDED ANOTHER VIDEO IN COMMENTS

General Advice what is the best cheap wet cat food available?

Post image
77 Upvotes

hello, i'm 25 and i have 6 cats with my partner. we have run into some financial hardship and i am having a tough time finding a job. we can afford dry cat food, but i like to give my cats wet food with dinner (partially because 2 of them take meds that need to be mixed into it)

currently they eat purina urinary tract health dry food for breakfast; then friskies wet food + a bit of dry food mix for dinner. friskies is the cheapest wet food i've been able to find, but i'm wondering if there are any other good options

it doesn't need to be necessarily the most nutritious food ever. my cats will still continue getting the bulk of their nutrition from dry food. but i don't want to feed them something that will cause GI issues or anything like that.

i will also accept options that are similar in price to friskies but more nutritious and/or higher calorie. i'm considering the big cans of dave's and wellness, for example (more expensive per oz but much higher calorie)

thank you in advance!

edit: currently feeding them friskies turchicken 48ct 5.5oz cans for $35-$40. each can has 850-950 kcals. that's ~$0.14 per oz

i go through about 3 cans/day, 2 boxes/month ($70-$80 per month). this is within budget. max that i can afford is $100

Abnormal Vomit/Excreta My cat has been sitting in the litter box for hours

Thumbnail gallery
126 Upvotes

10M, neutered, generally a pain in the ass but we love him to pieces. He vomits regularly, usually from overeating and vomit just looks like mushy kibbles. He is on a specialty compounded medication for IBD that includes prednisone and a few other meds to keep this (somewhat) regulated.

For about a week, he’s been crying a lot. He’s very vocal by nature. We assumed it’s because he misses his brother, who we had to put down recently due to an aggressive cancer. He cried similarly when we lost my mom (his OG owner).

Two days ago, he projectile vomited. Yellow, liquidy, sprayed 3 feet away. He’s done this once before and he was fine within a day. Yesterday, he projectile vomited again.

Today, we wake up and he is just sitting in the litter box. He won’t come out. We have given him pets and scritches and he’s alert, but we haven’t tried pulling him out.

Normally he potties outside in the backyard. (We have a doggie door and a tall fence he cannot jump.) The litter boxes generally only get used when it’s rainy outside. We looked in the yard and haven’t seen any unusual excrement.

I left a message with the vet. I’m hoping we can get him in tomorrow. We really don’t want to take him to an ER vet as we are still paying off $3K in bills we stacked up in a month of trying to figure out what was wrong with our other SIC before he died.

Has anyone ever had a cat cower in the litter box? Is it that he’s just sitting on the pot like we do with a tummy bug? Grief tummy? Or should we add to our vet debt and take him to an ER vet?

UPDATE: we called the ER vet. We’re taking him in for some fluids. We’d prefer his regular vet to do the diagnostic tests because he knows my kitty’s history with IBD and has prior images to compare them with. Pretty sure they’ll fit him in tomorrow.

If fluids don’t help today, then we’ll make decisions from there. Hoping to spend less than $1K at the emergency vet today :/

2nd UPDATE: It’s a really bad IBD flare-up.

Good news - kidneys/urinary tract are fine. Heart is has a mild murmur, but otherwise seems strong. No fluid in the lungs (He started panting in the car on the way. Freaked me out! They think he was just in that much pain.)

Other news: He has hyperthyroidism, but that’s treatable with 1 med a day, no biggie.

Not so good news: he has highly elevated lymphocytes, which could indicate lymphoma. Apparently it is quite common for cats with GI issues to develop lymphoma. Also slightly weakened liver function, which does not bode well for the GI lymphoma possibility.

Got referral for a specialist. Hopefully headed home soon.

Kitten Help Cat ate this what to do

Post image

2 month old kitten chewed through this and I think ate some pieces , 20 (F) can afford the vet but he just went for eating something else literally last week. I’m so frustrated because I do my best to keep treats away from where he can reach it but Ofcourse when I go to work all chaos breaks lose. He just ate a Churu treat last week and I found out bc he threw the plastic up. Now what do I do. He ate plastic AGAIN. I’m still paying of the 400 dollars and I literally just got him pet insurance today. I am so tired of my cats constantly chewing through things they eat wet food only like how greedy can you be

I just noticed this injury on my cats arm, I’m not sure how long she has had it. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what it might be? Also looking for any advice on ointments or healing spray that might work best? If we need to we will take her to the vet, I’m just trying to see if we can help her at home first. She is almost a year old and an indoor cat. We do have another kitten and two dogs in the house but she tends to keep to herself. Thank you for any advice!

Kitten Help Is my 2 month old okay??? Diarrhea and not eating that much

Post image
45 Upvotes

Hi there! I’m an adult from the US that recently got a kitten three weeks ago. He is a young (we got him way too early I know, very long story). He had his first vet visit a 2 weeks ago and recently saw the local vet at the animal shelter again this last Tuesday where he got his first vaccine, both vets gave him a clean bill of health (getting neutered when he’s a bit bigger). He’s been not eating a lot but will eat a churu or treats if we offer them. (He typically eats 3/4 times a day wet and dry food with some water). He’s still gaining weight and is otherwise acting normal. I just got home from work. I noticed that he had a little bit of diarrhea in his litter box. He’s had two short play sessions with her other two girl cats (age 5 not sick whatsoever)

I’m not sure if he’s stressed out by the vet and hanging out with his sisters or if it’s something else. Should I treat this as an emergency or call the vet tomorrow morning?

I found a kitten outside today. I’m not sure how it got here or where it came from. It looks to be some months old maybe 3-6 ish? Im not sure. it is very very scared. I captured it and brought it inside by placing wet food in a pet carrier and closing it once it was inside. Im currently keeping it in my room separate from the rest of the house as i have another cat and dont wanna risk it. its currently hiding under my bed and wont come out, we plan to bring it to the vet tomorrow but im not sure how to get it to trust me to come out of hiding. im not sure of its gender but im pretty sure its a boy. it looks as if its been eating but was super hungry. i have pet anxiety so im worried if its okay and what to do about getting it comfortable to come out to take it to the vet.

General Advice FIP tips

Adult
USA
veterinary accessible, contacted, care decided on
TL;DR What to expect when suspecting FIP
Cat age: 6 months
Female; spayed
Can afford just not looking forward to $1200 in meds & 84 days of meds

Thursday, September 17th our two female cats were spayed, microchipped, and given revolution. Both healthy and happy kittens. The day after surgery, one kitten was shivering and balance seemed off. When I would give her anti inflammatory pills she would stop shivering. Everything I googled said that was normal days after surgery. I thought the balance issue was because of the surgery suit. Seemed to get better on Monday. Tuesday seemed normal. Wednesday still shaking but still not abnormal according to doctor on Tuesday. Thursday, lethargic. Called vet Friday, vet administered more anti inflammatory pills. Saw vet Monday, ultrasound because abdomen was distended and hot. (Doc said something about snow globe because there were particles in the ultrasound but nothing to worry about. It happens sometimes.) got a shot of antibiotics and more anti inflammatory pills. They thought maybe she was infected. (The other cat definitely was.) Seemed better Wednesday. Thursday and Friday back to lethargic. Saturday (yesterday,10/3) I woke up and she was having neurological symptoms; head tilt, head twitching, one eye closing, seemed sensitive to light, suddenly irritable. Emergency vet visit, blood work, urinalysis, ultrasound, ear infection check, all clear. More anti inflammatory pills.

Called emergency vet with neuro Sunday they tell me to come immediately. Diagnosed with FIP. Doctor also confirmed there was clouding in the eye beginning.

Treatment: GS-441524 compound antiviral twice a day for 84 days (12 weeks) (because she’s so young and eye concerns have entered the chat) and eye drops 4 times a day until otherwise instructed. (Any pro tips for this and sleeping would be great.)

Sort of just as a warning and asking if anyone else has treated their cat(s) for FIP and maybe if you can share what to expect, it would be much appreciated. (They said progress would be slow we just have to make sure she doesn’t get worse early on.)

The chances of a cat’s Covid mutating to FIP is 5-12%
Chances of survival are 85%

General Advice Small lickable cat treats

Post image
8 Upvotes

Does anyone know of a lickable/creamy cat treat, like churu, that comes in smaller portions? I use them to give my cat her medicine. It's a liquid, and she doesn't take well to the direct syringe. So, to not stress her out, I mix her meds with a small squeeze of churu (vet confirmed it is fine to mix). Problem is, once opened the churu are only good in the fridge for a day or 2, and she only gets the meds once a day. I don't like how wasteful it is, and it's obviously money down the drain (or in the trash, for that matter).

Can't mix it with her wet food because she isn't the biggest fan so she doesn't always eat it all. She's on a prescription diet, so I can't change foods. She can't have the whole treat, but the vet said a little mixed with her meds is okay. Just trying to find a better option than wasting half or more of a churu every other day.

In the USA, if that helps for recommendations. Picture of my sweet girl in the light of our prism window for tax. ❤️ TIA!

Is my friends cat fat? Sorry didn’t have pic. He said he was worried though because he would sleep by his bowl and eat a lot and is lethargic. I drew picture he looks like that. When he would jump up on the couch he would be breathing super heavy and need time to catch his breath before finding a spot on the couch next to me. I am worried he needs to loose weight or it could be dangerous for him

Behavioral Issue Cat doing digging motion and yowling by water bowl.

This is Silver, a super senior kitty. Male and hopefully neutered but not sure. Prob at least 15 based on anecdotal narrative from people involved with rescue. I am an experienced cat mom / middle age human and I can afford care. Currently he is the only animal in my house. I rescued him a few days ago, he eats like a champ and has been drinking and uses the box and pee pads, but i think may have some pain or stress. Which would be understandable, his human mom died and he was alone in the house about a month with only a neighbor feeding him. I found him via various local cat rescue posts on facebook. I notice around the water bowl he is vocalizing and doing these digging motions. The water spills out because he keeps moving the dish. We are at the vet now, they are doing a basic labs and urine test. They confirmed that he is declawed (terrible). I need to ask if they can confirm he is male and if he's neutered. Anyone seen behavior like this before?

EDITED TO INCLUDE: Thanks to all of you, a drinking fountain is on the way from Chewy and a larger water bowl has been set down, the labs at the vet showed good healthy levels, no major things like diabetes, thyroid, liver etc. He is indeed male and neutered and unfortunately declawed by a former owner. Probably he is still stressed from a major life change and needed a better water setup. They sent us home with some liquid gabapentin to be given as needed for stress, I put some on his fancy feast and he was immediately like I don't think so! So I gave him a fresh can with no meds right next to it and he went to town. 😊😊😊 Someone noted in comments that it's not good to have trash can right by his food bowls which is a good point and also maybe being in the busy kitchen area isn't the best option either. He hasn't seemed to mind the location before yesterday but I'm going to try moving it / duplicating another food and water station in a calmer area.

General Advice My cat keeps scratching and have injured himself

Thumbnail gallery
33 Upvotes

These maybe not the best pictures, but my cat was born in my garage 8 years ago. We took him when he was 6 months inside the house and has been living here since. When he was a year old and a half, he's started scratching, and licking himself excessively. We have taken him to vets and they told us he has a skin condition. Everytime we go they always put him prednisolone, which helps with his itch for 3 months max. But it's been years and the effects aren't the same anymore, now it only helps him for a month. We have tried oral medicine but it's so hard to give it to him. I'm going to take him to the vet tomorrow so they could give him prednisolone.

But does anyone know other options? Something that could help him relieve his scratching?

Injury Sphynx Raw Butt? NSFW

Post image
• Upvotes

I noticed yesterday that my 5 year old Sphynx, Leo, had a red and inflamed butt. He has always scooted his butthole across the carpet after bathroom trips so I figured he had just rubbed it raw. It has been almost 2 days and didn’t seem to be getting better. He isn’t cleaning it himself because I keep noticing ‘crusties’ down there. When I try and clean him with a warm wet towel, he freaks out and yelps and tries to pull away. Does this look like a skin irritation or something else?

Dental Issue 5 months old kitten teeth bleeding. Is this an emergency?

I got home and my little one had traces of blood on his paws. At first, I freaked out, searching the house for anything he might have hurt himself on.

Then it dawned on me that it was probably from his teeth—they’re loose, and he’s about to lose them.

On Thursday, i took him to the vet to get his shots, and the vet checked his teeth and gums. She confirmed he had gingivitis but said it was normal for his age. She also felt his back teeth, and they were very loose. She told me it was normal, but the problem is that he’s never bled before, and that’s what’s got me worried.

There is not big bleeding, nor blood anywhere on the floor/house.

Do you think I should take him to the vet again? Today is Sunday, and there will only be an emergency vet available in my city.

I was actually leaving town tomorrow at noon for four days. A cat sitter was going to come check on him once a day. The timing has been terrible. I’m really worried.

I could take him to the vet first thing tomorrow morning....

The truth is, the vet told me it was normal, and I’ve looked it up on Google—everywhere says it’s normal because he’s teething—but again, the blood on his paws and his red gums really shocked me. He definitely has a tooth that’s very loose.
