They couldn't and didn't. Pizza was bought with dollars. The one guy sent another guy all that BTC. The other guy bought pizza with a credit card or something. The first guy gets the infamy credit. But no one talks about the Chad who got 10000 btc. The pizza place sure as hell didn't want it.
