Father Day Events?
Any info on Atlanta store special events, drops or sales for Fathers Day? I know online stores are starting to push Fathers Day specials on the national scene. Local Vine has an event but it is an invitation only loyalty event.
Anyone know of anything else.

I got the Stagg Jr for about $70 out the door. And yes, they are doing small mini drops but no way of knowing unless it just happens to coincide with when you drop in (or someone posts about it here, which I did when I got the Stagg). And I AM a regular customer much to my wallet’s regret, but I still wish the store would be more transparent.

Not a “drop” but there are cases of Weller full proof store pick at camp creek for the low low price of $150 🫠

I got EH Taylor small batch at Tower last week for about $60. Just pure luck but super easy purchase. Suggested it to one friend and that afternoon the workers told him he couldn’t buy one because he didn’t follow them on Instagram. EH Taylor was not even posted on their Instagram….
They pick and choose over there you just gotta be lucky.

You can find EHT SmB for $60 on the shelf in atl… no luck needed.

At my regular stores, Tower Buckhead & Greens on Ponce I can assure you that is not the case. But I understand where you’re coming from.

Last year they did a Weller drop on the Thursday before Father's Day and announced it on social media as it started. They have been decreasing their drops though. No Kentucky Derby drop this year, didn't do Labor Day or end of year drops last year when they usually do. So I'm not sure if they're slowly moving towards no drops or only the Black Friday drop or something.

I noticed the same thing. I just wish the store would be more transparent as to what they were doing.

I talked to a worker and he said it was to try and get the regulars better bottles more often. They were getting tired of people driving from all over the place and taking decent bottles.

I should clarify they’re putting bottles out randomly throughout the week now instead of doing dedicated drops.

Yeah, I saw a iG post someone got a Stagg jr on a random weekend.
It would seem Greens is doing the same. No social media announcement, just a drop.

Bankhead’s doing a Father’s Day raffle. Store pick = two tickets + additional tickets w/ a “tag your dad on instagram” requirement. I like Bankhead a lot…not a fan of their system for drops/raffles, though. (I’m fine w/ the store picks — theirs are quite good in my experience — but for a place in line, NOT the opportunity to buy a specific bottle I may or may not want.) But thought some might be interested.
